I had a killer five month stay in Bogotá, and can’t wait to get back there. If you’ve never been it’s a must to put it on your list. taken in Bogotá, Colombia by @seven4seven

I spent the weekend in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range outside of Palomino, Colombia. On the last full day, after a two hour hike, I was lucky enough to hang in a Kogi native village which was a lot of fun. taken in Palomino, La Guajira by @seven4seven

I’m spending the next few months in the Teusaquillo neighborhood of Bogotá at the home of my friend @sguberek who is a gallerist and art collector. His gallery @sgrgaleria is impressive, so make sure to stop in the next time you are here. His home is an absolute gem, and is filled with of hundreds of pieces from Colombia’s most talented artists. by @seven4seven

I’ve been here a bunch of times over the years, but I still love exploring La Candelaria. Founded in 1538 by Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada, La Candelaria served as the original site of Santa Fé de Bogotá, later becoming the capital of New Granada. It played a pivotal role in Colombia’s independence, with preserved colonial and republican buildings declared a national monument in 1963. taken in La Candelaria, Bogotá by @seven4seven

This hike up to Las Tres Cruces was by far the most difficult city hike I’ve ever completed. It is only 2.6 miles, but the entire time you are heading straight up 1,312 vertical feet with zero switchbacks at a 19% grade. The first third is all stairs, and the rest is a rock field that is relentless. taken in Cerro De Las Tres Cruces by @seven4seven

Getting up into the mountains outside of Cali, brings the temperatures down and opens up into some amazing valleys with pueblos that are hundreds of years old. My friend’s finca (country home) is up against a national park and is perfectly isolated from the rest of the valley. taken in La Cumbre, Valle del Cauca by @seven4seven

Went on a killer hike this morning and ended up at just about 10,000 ft. The only difference between city hiking in the states and Bogota, is that there are cops on the trails here to make sure you don’t get r0bbed. Sure dude. Take my water and energy bars. They’re all yours… taken in Montaña Quebrada La Vieja by @seven4seven

The Chapinero neighborhood is basically the Bushwick of Bogota. It’s where a lot of young people live, and there are tons of bars, clubs, and restaurants that are worth hanging out at. The views are from the home of my buddy @crackmastah that overlook the entire city, and are obviously epic. taken in Chapinero - Bogota D.C. by @seven4seven
