It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dion E. Clarke, founder and CEO of the Harlem Fine Arts Show, on July 13, 2026, due to a recurrence of pancreatic cancer.

As an organization built on community, culture, and resilience, the Harlem Fine Arts Show will continue moving forward with the HFAS Summer Festival July 17-19, 2026, and HFAS19 in February 2027. We know this is exactly what Dion would want us to do—continue celebrating artists, supporting our community, and advancing the mission he dedicated so much of his life to. The team he built is prepared to carry on.

We respectfully ask everyone to be mindful that this is a deeply personal and emotional time for Dion's family and the entire HFAS community. Updates will come through official Harlem Fine Arts Show communications.

Thank you for your understanding, your compassion, and your continued support. by @sevenbrown

Save The Date! The 2025 C. Virginia Fields Awards for Leadership and Community Service will take place on Thursday, February 20th, from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the village of Harlem.

Named in honor of the former Manhattan Borough President, whose transformational leadership led to the historic rezoning of Frederick Douglass Boulevard, now a vibrant corridor and restaurant row, the C. Virginia Fields Award is presented to New Yorkers for their extraordinary leadership and impact in the village of Harlem.

Stay tuned for an exciting announcement about this year’s honorees.

A community gem need your help! Nilu's is more than a gift shop; it's a sanctuary for healing, art and culture. For years, they've been a source of support for local artists, hosting amazing events that have enriched our neighborhood.
Now it's our turn to give back! A GoFundMe campaign has been launched by @tboharlem
Please share! ❤️💪
