New kit. New season. Same spirit.

From new kits and footballs to helping cover the costs of training, Kits for Kids is all about giving local teams the support they need to keep doing what they do best.

This year, through our Community Fund, we've helped grassroots clubs across Birmingham and Coventry get match fit with funding for kit and equipment.

Because every player deserves the chance to pull on the shirt, get stuck in and be part of a team.

True or False: One rain shower will end a drought?

❌ False.

After a long dry spell, rainfall can help reduce demand as people use a little less water outdoors. But droughts are caused by a long-term shortage of rainfall, and it takes time for rivers, reservoirs and groundwater sources to recover.

While the rain is helping, we still need sustained rainfall to replenish the water sources we all rely on. by @severntrent
