“Look what I made for you!” @jayz #seweustyle This JAŸ-Z lyric top was really fun to make. I used @adobe Illustrator to create the #customprint. First making a grid that allowed each bar to be evenly spaced. There are 55 of my favorite #jayz bars from various songs on the textile. What’s your favorite bar? NGL I almost missed my flight making the top, but it was sew worth it 🤞🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽 I always make my Barbies miniatures of my custom pieces when I can, since “big sis still playing with @Barbie” 😉 Side bar: JAŸ’s band member told me to tag J, so I’m gonna keep tagging him! We all know he doesn’t manage his account but one can wish 🤞🏽✨🤪 by @seweu
Behind the seams creating my @jayz homage corset #seweustyle First time making my own textile print in @adobeillustrator. #textiledesign 40 plus hours into creating the art, cutting, sewing and tailoring. A true labor of love ❤️ Custom Art on Sateen Shell White Coutil to keep the structure and images vibrant Black satin lined for opulence 14 bones 🦴 to keep everything in tact 16 eyelets to keep it tight… peep the art tho! #custommade #oneofone #jayzlondon What was your favorite JAY-Z concert? by @seweu
Had the absewlute pleasure of meeting my style icon @juneambrose at this years @blackfootwearforum where she encouraged me to share my works OFTEN and how much importance your internet presence is as part of your IP (intellectual property)… Her energy is infectious and she’s sew damn fly! Another reoccurring reminder was showing up as your authentic self which I always do! #seweustyle PS she loved my hair and side curls 😂 #blackdesigner #blackgirlmagic #hypebae #sistersinsolebrunch #blackfootwearforum #sewingissexy #memade #imakemyclothes by @seweu
Polo Fest Day 1 #seweustyle w/the face of @poloralphlauren @tysoncbeckford 📸: @t.guapo ありがと 🙇🏻‍♀️ I was a little distracted by his aura but I think he said: “I like your dress, I’ve never seen that before” and I probably said “Thx, #Imadeit, it has pockets!” 🤪 🐻: upcycled one of a kind #polobearsheetsdress by me circa 2017, pulled out my Ricky bag a made in Italy supple leather bag Ralph designed for his wife. Some cute polo socks and my favorite polka dot silk scarf, fresh curls and freckles ftw 🙌🏽 The entry… “I’m not designing clothes, I’m creating a world” ~Ralph Lauren Americana Details Baby Details Forgot my tripod, #polofest outfit check That bike tho!!! @steiff_official x @ralphlauren bears と @sashiko_gals bespoke bear 🐻 Upcycled pieces by local artisans Upclose on the mending techniques❣️ Sick Sashiko Style Logo and Patchwork… Quick mirror 🪞 shot Sexiest Dislay Ever❣️❣️❣️ Audience Stay Hydrated My Friends❣️ The Don @thirstinhowlthe3rd speaking on #lolifes & his latest book #BuryMeWithTheLoOn A student in her element❣️ Custom Work In Progress❣️ Booked my flight ✈️ to Tokyo with a week’s notice and see glad I came the FOMO would’ve killed me❣️ by @seweu
“I’m not designing clothes, I’m creating a world” -@ralphlauren #seweustyle #polofest #polobeardress #custommade #oneofakind I designed, cut & sewed these three pieces, including a かわいい shirt dress with a coordinating belt, upcycled from vintage @ralphlaurenhome yellow Polo Bear sheets for Polo Fest. 🐻💛 I also customized my vintage Denim & Supply jacket with a one-of-a-kind Rugby-style Polo Bear appliqué. 🏉 The dress took a week to make; the jacket took about two days. Jacket in progress… the collar and Sashiko details are still calling my name. 🪡 Styled with my 33cm @rqlphlauren Ricky Bag, a vintage silk scarf inspired by the Parisian Polo Bear, white cotton frilly bloomers, cutesy Polo lettuce edge socks. brown loafers and custom gold button braces 😬 grills❤️ Having major Fomo cause I never met @andre3000 😭 Haters will say it’s photoshopped because it is. But the pieces? 100% REAL. ❣️❣️❣️ What RL line has a chokehold on you? by @seweu
99 problems but my stitch ain’t 1! #seweustyle This was my most challenging commission to date. My client @lilbitofnaj brought me 50 plus Taekwondo belts to #upcycle / #refashion and told me to do my thing and my thing I did! Took over 40 hours and 5 different machines cause she thiccccccccccccccccccccccc! I chose 13 of the flyest #taekwondo belts and created the textile from scratch. It’s giving Ralph Lauren rugby iykyk. Shape inspired by the iconic March Jacob’s tote. Made the handles and removable strap from a double stripe belt for an extra pop! Hella Pockets and a bottle holder, I might be an official #bagmaker now 🤣 I did an embroidered custom monogram on the inside below the red and brass zippered welt pocket and installed brass purse feet to keep this beauty protected. Belts: Client Provided Lining Fabric: @carhartt Hardware: Brass How many needles do you think I broke with this one? Actual blood, sweat and tears are in this bag 😂 cause I had to hand sew some things… by @seweu
A one of one, my homage to the GOAT @jayz #seweustyle 4 days of designing, 4 days of waiting on custom textiles and 4 days of cutting, sewing and tailoring. 4:44 if you will to create this bespoke fully boned JAŸ-Z CD collage corset and custom lyric top. #jayzlondon #custommade #jayz30 Each lyric personally chose and hand applied into my art board. Each piece of CD art, carefully placed into an artful collage. Numerous fittings for the corset. Ai could nevahhhhhhhhhhh! No copyright infringement intended, creative purposes only! We love you Jigga! #notforsale Where would you have wanted to see him? by @seweu
“Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave, I am the dream and the hope of the slave... I rise I rise I rise”~Maya Angelou . . Over 60 hours and 700 feet of reflective Vibranium laces went into painstakingly creating this Black Panther Warrior Uniform. I come from a long line of Black Makers and while I am completely self taught their creative blood runs thru me! #seweustyle .  #blackmakers #memade #sewfrosting #weareblackladies #amplifymelanatedvoices #blackwomenbusiness #blackmakersmatter #blkmakersmatter #blackgirlssew #pyermoss #blackexcellence #femalesneakerhead #explore #blackgirldisney #blackvegansofig by @seweu
The ruler’s 📏 back! #seweustyle This Taekwondo belt upcycle / #refashion almost took me out, but it was such a sentimental commissioned gift I had to see it thru… or see thru it just like my favorite rulers! I only showed two of the five machines I used cause quite frankly by then I was too exasperated to record much else! That #iphoneduo looks intriguing 🧐 tho! Had to throw a passport holder in there and my two favorite transit cards since I’m a #bicoastal babe! NY born/Cali Raised! Like Frank’s red hot, I put embroidery on everything! Special shout out to my girl for @thecornyrainbow letting me use her machine BIG BERTHA! Since it’s #sewtember if there’s anything you wanna learn lmk and I’ll try to get a video out for you! by @seweu
Enjoying an epic day at epic universe! “These 🥷 wanna be my princess…” 👸🏽💅🏽 #seweustyle And apparently Princess Peach understood the assignment. 😂💗 Made the #nintendodress. #ithaspockets Met the princess at #epicuniverse What more do y’all want from me?! 😂🧵👑 #NWM energy ONLY. by @seweu
Accustomed to customs ✈️ 🏝️ 👙 #seweustyle Where do you think I went? Hint: We on an island 🏝️ hoe! #custommade #memademay2026 #diybikini #taurusseason Made this little NUMBER 24 hours before my birthday trip, am I the drama 😅? by @seweu
Fun TBT! No bday outing is complete without a cupcake from the @sprinklescupcakes ATM. What’s your favorite flavor cupcake? Their #vegan cupcake 🧁 is super yummy and the perfect size to share a bite with a friend. #sprinklesmoment This outfit was created in part by modifying @mccallpatterncompany #mccallspattern #M7757 📷:@skaichaser I switched the original @barbie outfit from a 1992 #DisneyFun Barbie onto a Barbie that looked a little bit more like me, because #representationmatters @cosdope Fabric: @walmart and @ebay Vinyl: @michaelsstores Earrings: @goodwillthriftstore Kicks: @vans from @journeys by @seweu
