Finished this beauty today. #poppinsbag done using two inch strips in #aboriginalfabrics. Didn't us the two inch strips with the lining as was given the lining fabric. Made a removable covered mdf board in the base for extra support. Also made a change in hiw the base is attached. Pleased with the outcome. This has gone to my friend Jenny #jenniferclouston it just looked like a Jenny bag.

Just finished this little puff quilt for #patchworkangelaustralia. Took two days to do which is longer than I thought it would take. But it's quit a bit to do with making them.

Made these Poppins bags by #auntiestwopatterns . Made the colourful one as a sample from a kit for #thepatchworkangel , other other I made for myself. Loaded it up ready to take to the crazy class I do with #jenniferclouston tomorrow. It's a big bag & holds a lot.

Binding complete and easier than I thought. Can you see the join in the second photo? Hard to see. The last join is going to be the challenge once binding on the quilt. Topper ready to deliver with the remaining fabric. Doing a quilt topper you would not normally do for youself is one way to challenge youself plus get the pleasure of putting it together for someone else, for Gemma at the #patchworkangel. Looking forward to seeing the quilting Fiona Bell #quiltingfairy is going to do.

My work today joining the blocks, the rows, adding the sashing and last the boarders with two corners being mitered on the Daybreak quilt top. Also cut the bias binding ready to join tomorrow. Wish my own quilt tops got finished as quick. Must need to put a time frame on them ha ha. Got a good response from my husband David so impressed him. Next hand over to Fiona Bell #quiltingfairy to do her magic with the quilting.
