‘Thank goodness for tinted glasses!’ Thinks Chic to herself as the bright, Autumnal sunshine streams in at the office window… Happy Monday, my sweetlings, how is everyone? We’ve been on holiday to Rye, staying in the most beautiful 50s decor loft apartment- I was in heaven! Then home to a fabulous Dolly meet-up in Norwich on Saturday, hosted by lovely @dollqueen62 , sitting next to darling @dottiedollie . I have some photos…watch this space! Chic is typing in her office, which I believe is from 1990’s - the seller didn’t have much information and there was no box. It has a light up screen for the computer and makes all kinds of beeping and whirring noises, depending on which machine is on the back desk! Still all working and so much fun. She is dressed by @sindy.vintage.official and @dollqueen62 and we would love to join @sindy_doll_collector for #dollsinautumn Hope you have an excellent start to your week😘😘❤️❤️ #sindysue #yesanotheroffice #citychic #busy by @sewist53

Goodmorning from Baking Sindy at the wonderful #dollsminimonthlymarket with @action_mans_nan and @sindylovesstyle . *please swipe for more if you would like to* 2…It’s a glorious Autumn day and the sun is shining … 3…Auburn haired Sindy comes to visit and is very tempted by the homemade pickles and jams on the produce shelves… 4…’Would you like a coffee?’ Says Sindy. ‘Yes,’ says her friend ‘espresso, please.’ Sindy sets the special skull coffee machine in motion and puts a tiny skull cup in place… 5…Choosing a ghostly Halloween biscuit to go with it, Sindy sips her coffee happily… 6…Oh! Here’s Patch with her darling puppy, Posy… 7…The Sindys say hello and Patch hugs them both. ‘You’ve still got you birthday hat on, Patch,’ says her Aunt, laughing. ‘Yes,’ says Patch, ‘I’m going to see @gingerdollysindy ‘s circus with my friends Pepper, Patch and Pete with @sindy_doll_collector and the other Patchs, Pennys and Peppers with @sindylovesstyle and @action_mans_nan - I thought the hat looked a bit like a clown hat, so I kept it on! ‘ Her Aunts agree that it looks fabulous!… 8…Baking Sindy moves around to the other skull machine and chooses a cheeky pumpkin mug for Patch. ‘Hot chocolate?’ She asks her favourite niece, knowing what the answer will be… 9…’’Ooo, yes please,’ she replies, ‘with cream?’ She adds, smiling at her Aunt whilst trying to decide which is the biggest cake or biscuit on the cart!… 10…She settles down on the ground by the cart and takes a long slurp of her hot chocolate. ‘Mmmmmm, ‘ she sighs with pleasure, preparing to take a bite of her enormous slice of cake… 11…Grabbing a napkin from the bench, Sindy offers it to Patch. ‘Darling, you might need this,' she says with a smile… 12-14 extra views… Happy sunny Autumn Sunday, my loves - i hope you've got a little treat planned for today. We would love to join @sindylovesstyle and @action_mans_nan for #dollsminimonthlymarket , @sindy_doll_collector for #dollsinautumn , @dresslikeasindy and @sindylife2021 for #sindysundaystyle Skull coffee machines and mugs designed by @sparklecious , cart and shelving by @sprizzie - all printed by darling Sailor Sid 🧡 #sindysue by @sewist53

The Sindys are working hard in their sunny office this Friday morning. *please swipe for more if you would like to* 2…’Look out,’ mutters Chic to her friend as the Office Manager, Tressy, arrives… 3…Apparently she’s getting a file… 4…but the girls know she’s also checking up on them… 5…Chic keeps typing and doesn’t look up… 6…Sindy is STILL on hold to their London office… 7…They have all the mod cons at their fingertips… 8…and, as soon as Tressy leaves, it’ll be time for coffee - Chic’s remembered the biscuits! Happy Friday, my darlings - another sunny day in Sindy Town, but there’s definitely a crisp feeling to the air outside. This is the 1985 Fashion Doll Office set - such fun with all its little detailed bits! Who else remembers those telephone number pads that you moved the arrow to the initial and pressed the bar, whereby it would flip open to that page? Brilliant! My sister, @love_my_garden62 and I absolutely loved playing offices in the 1960s - I had a Petite typewriter and she had a Corona (which she still has and is still using😆😆) - so this is a real nostalgia trip for me - pass the carbon paper, Sissy😏😏😉😉😆😆 We would love to join @sindy_doll_collector for #dollsinautumn and @aureganedolls for #fridaydollface - thank you for hosting, lovelies. Chic wears @sindy.vintage.official , Sindy wears @dollsabouttown , conservatory designed by those wizards, @sprizzie and printed beautifully by our darling Sid. #sindysue #sindyoffice #friday by @sewist53

‘Oh, it really does feel like Autumn today,’ thinks Dreamy as she watches the rain fall outside whilst the kettle fills from the tap. *please swipe for more if you would like to* 2…’Now,’ she says to herself, opening the fridge and peering in, ‘it’s my day off and I’m going to have a treat. I’m sure there was a Danish pastry in here somewhere .’… 3…’Warmed, I think,’ she continues as she switches the oven on and puts the pastry on a baking tray… 4…She carefully scoops the fresh ground coffee into the jug, ready for the hot water… 5…Putting the coffee on the table with the warm Danish, she smiles to herself as she remembers that the postie brought her new edition of Mam’selle magazine on her day off!… 6…‘Well, that’s just perfection.’ She thinks, sitting at the table and reaching for her magazine… 7…After breakfast she loads the dishwasher… 8…throws the rubbish in the recycling bin… 9…and puts the coffee away… 10…And now it’s time for a shower… 11-17…some more views just for fun! Happy Wednesday, my sweetest lovelies! This is Dreamy’s new kitchen! (I can hear you @jollydollyshop 😏😉) Is the Barbie Dream kitchen from 1985 and is the most marvellous bit of kit! I got it for £4.50 from the bay of E and have spent happy hours scrubbing it and even happier hours ‘dressing’ it!! A big thank you to my darling Sailor Sid (best friend of the Sindys) for printing a pink table, a coat rack and a replacement top for the little work table as it had perished. Also HUGE thank you to darling Bonita, who gave me the coffee jug and mugs knowing just how much joy they would bring - it’s just fabulous!! @sindylife2021 can you spot your lovely clock that was part of my goody bag on Saturday? And @kristinastacey.miniatures can you see the first of the Autumn themed magazines you have designed? They are all so gorgeous! We would love to join @sindy_doll_collector for #dollsinautumn 🤎💛🧡❤️🤎💛🧡❤️ps @kirstybecca I hope you enjoy this😘😘🩷🩷 #sindysue #sindykitchen #pinkkitchen #autumn by @sewist53

Patch was so excited to go to the Sindy Set Meets in London on Saturday - she usually has to stay at home, but this year is a big one for her as she celebrates 60 years being Sindy’s ‘naughty little sister’ (not that she is, she’d like to point out! She’s very kind and thoughtful and sensible!) She loved it that a nice lady, @jessica_flapjac , showed #sindysue how to make a fabulous party hat and balloon for her… *please swipe for more if you would like to* 2…Auburn haired Sindy’s bought a lovely Autumnal dress and bag from @heart.of.flesh.dolls … 3…just look at the amazing fastening at the back!… 4…Gorgeous Walker Sindy grabbed the wonderful dark teal black cat Halloween dress from @jollydollyshop … 5…she just loves that pattern placement, Cathy!… 6…Meanwhile, short haired Sindy bought another Halloween dress from @rosapinksweetpea … 7…MiniMe and I dressed in our @merchantandmills fabric dresses with a knitted tank top… 8…and this is what MiniMe had in her bag!… 9…We all got back home on Sunday - MiniMe dressed in her new#sindysetmeets hoody from her goody bag. The first job was to collect Ruby and give her lots of love and attention - they had missed each other so much… 10…and then go for a long walk together… 11…I was hopeless and only took two photos of the day - this one of the venue - which was really lovely… 12…and one of my lovely friend Sandra, @thesmallpretender , and Sindy Quant! Thank you so much, lovely Bonita, for all your hard work organising the event and giving us the opportunity to see each other, spend time together and make new friends too. It was truly a joyous day and I don’t think I stopped smiling all, day! As well as @jessica_flapjac great workshop and interesting talk we also got to hear from lovely David, @princessdianadolls2020 about his collection, photography and recent conversion to Sindy and, of course, there was shopping! @kirstybecca it was so wonderful to see you and your lovely Mum again - that made the day extra special. Happy Tuesday, my loves and we would love to join @sindy_doll_collector for #dollsinautumn Ps darling Michelle, @dottiedollie you were right about that balloon!🙄🙄😆😆 #sindymeetup #sindyfriends by @sewist53

‘Oh! What a beautiful morning,’ thinks Gauntlet Sindy, coming into her kitchen which is filled with sunlight. *please swipe for more if you would like to* 2…’Now…what’s for breakfast?’ She mutters, looking in the fridge… 3…She’d forgotten that she’d bought two delicious looking croissants from the bakery yesterday. ‘Well, it’s Sunday so it has to be pan au chocolate,’ she thinks… 4…Switching on the oven… 5…she slides the croissant inside to warm… 6…Then fills the kettle at the sink… 7…As she spoons the fresh coffee into her favourite pot she smiles, anticipating the first cup of the day… 8…Opening the cupboards, she takes down a plate, cup and saucer and selects a knife from the drawer… 9…The kitchen is filled with the smells of coffee and chocolate as she takes the croissant out of the oven and puts the kettle back on the stove top… 10…’Well this looks like a feast!’ She thinks to herself as she sits at the table and reaches for the coffee pot… 11…After breakfast she washes the dishes… 12…and puts everything away… 13…Then it’s time to get dressed and start her day, making the most of the sunshine… 14…Leaving the kitchen… 15…tidy… 16…and the sunflowers basking in the sunlight… Happy Sunday, lovely peeps! Hope you’ve got a bit of this early Autumn sunshine and warmth today - it’s glorious here in Norfolk! Yes, I know, I hear you, it IS another kitchen🙄🙄🙄what can I say??? Mini-me Sindy has taken Ruby for her morning walk and come home via Barbara’s Books. Her friend has just got some beautiful Autumnal books in by lovely @kristinastacey.miniatures . Sindy couldn’t resist! And now she’s planning some pickling before the last of the miniature cucumbers go bad… *please swipe for more if you would like to…* 2…She finds some jars and writes the labels for the lids. It’s very important to put the date on if you do lots of pickling!… 3…Then she thoroughly washes the jars… 4…and puts them on top of the oven to dry as she gently heats some vinegar with lots of mustard seed… 5…As the mixture cools in the jars, Sindy slices the miniature cucumbers lengthwise and carefully puts them into the vinegar… 6…’All done!’ She thinks to herself, gathering the washing up… 7…and taking it to the sink… 8…When everything is cleared away, she toasts herself a crumpet and makes a large pot of delicious coffee. ‘Mmmmm, homemade lemon curd,’ she says, thinking of her lovely friend, Baking Sindy, who made it for her… 9…Ruby has a treat too!… 10…The jars of pickles look great on the kitchen shelves… Happy new week, sweetest friends! We’ve been away with our lovely family and came home to darling @gmunnprints staying with us for a few days. It’s been wonderful! Sindy service will be resumed now and we would love to join @sindy_doll_collector for #dollsinautumn . ‘Mmmmmm,’ thinks Baking Sindy, drinking her morning tea at her bedroom window… *please swipe for more if you would like to* 2…’It actually feels a bit like Autumn this morning. Has the summer gone? I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to appreciate the warmth’… 3…Daisy looks up at her from the bed… 4…Sindy has an idea. She picks up her phone and calls her best friend, MiniMe Sindy. ‘Darling, it’s me!’ she says when she answers, ‘I wonder if you could do me a HUGE favour at very short notice?’… 5…After the phone call she goes onto the Air Sindy website on her laptop… 6…Then has a shower, dresses and begins to pack her suitcase… 7…Daisy’s not so sure she likes the look of this. ‘Don’t worry Daisy,’ says Sindy, stroking her ears, ‘you’re going to have a lovely few days with MiniMe Sindy and your best friend, Ruby!’… 8…After dropping Daisy off with her friend, Sindy hurries to catch the shuttle bus to the airport… 9…She’s really cutting it fine as she reaches the boarding gate, but the crew reassure her… 10…‘Don’t worry, you’ve got plenty of time. My colleague is at the top of the steps, waiting to show you to your seat… 11…Sindy begins to relax as they take off and then the seatbelt sign goes off. Also a lovely member of the cabin crew is putting a delicious looking cocktail into her hand… 12…She smiles and says thank you, stretching her legs and looking out of the window at the blue sky. ‘Sindyrini here I come!’ She thinks with delight! Happy Thursday, my sweetest darlings. Have you noticed the slight Autumnal nip in the air? I’m quite joyous at the thought of getting my knitwear out, but I thought Sindy deserved one last chance to join lovely @sindylovesstyle Liz in #sindyrini before the hotel closes for the season.
