Aaand thats a wrap for Maomao.. for now! I already have plans to make her blue fit but more stylized so that's to come~ I first did this project to learn more about Hanfu and I absolutely enjoyed the process so I may or may not have yet another interest to deep dive into.

Watching Apothecary Dairies while working on this made me realize, Maomao can DRESS YALL!! I love all of her looks and I lowkey wanna challenge myself to do them all but one thing at a time 😫 But seriously, Maomao is a damn good MC and I love her "that aint my business" mindset bc same girl same.

If you're wondering where the blue sash is... it was hanging in the dressing room, forgotten, as I did this little shoot. So I DID have it,, just not on my person 🫠. Also yay for my first cosplay shoot in a studio~!

Say hi to Semiu!! FINALLY, she's done and made her debut🥹 This project is definitely a great way to finish off my first year cosplaying and, of course, it gave me the most stress bc i didn't wanna mess ME up🤣.. Made top to bottom by me, with encouragement frm my cosplay fam who kept me sane @lola_coser @sleepy_chii_coser @twynne_cosplay @e.rror_606 🥰🫰🏾

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!! I was *intent* on getting as screen accurate as possible bc why the hell not. Ugh still in shock,, AND i got to meet other Cleaners 😭🙌🏾 I just need to marinate in this bc hot damn yall, I WAS SEMIU!!

BTW, this is goodbye to the blond for now, I'm glad I could see it off with Semiu .. but just know if i ever go blond again, Semiu making a comeback 😌

Dream Day 1! Bc lets be honest, I ran outta steam for Day 3.. gotta up my cosplay stamina🫠 Hopefully another time Loid Forger🫡

We had such an awesome time at @dreamconvention and hopefully we can make a return another year! I had come all the way frm South Korea but it was so so SO worth it😆

I don't get many chances to con in the US.. might as well go all out. Day 1 done and DreamCon is already so much more than I expected. I'm still tryna recover from yesterday bc ooof the overwhelm was real. AND I WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY😆

Almost to the finish line! 😭🙌🏾 At the very least, my mom will have the concept of a Corvus cosplay. The jacket felt more like an arts and craft project than sewing.. wait did does this count as upcycling?!

No but really, I can't express enough how surreal this is.. I've only gotten back into sewing maybe 2-3yrs now and even then, I wasn't cranking stuff out like this. To be at the point where I'm making an entire outfit for another person, it's hard to believe that I've actually made so much progress over the years.. I'm still not ready to shed my beginner status though. I wonder what would be a good sewing project for graduating to intermediate 🤔
