A little raw edge fabric play this morning. Just went with the flow & enjoyed the process. It’s not my favorite one, but it was fun nonetheless. Still so sad about my fur baby passing away. Quilting helps! 🧵❤️‍🩹 by @sewtastic221

Much of the sewing/quilting we do involves a great amount of preparation including cutting and measuring. I’m working on prep work for some flower art collage. Thank you to The Crabby Quilter in Annapolis, MD for your beautiful fabrics. I always love visiting a new quilt shop when I’m traveling and this one did not disappoint!
Happy Monday! 🧵😊 taken in Annapolis, Maryland by @sewtastic221

It’s #saturdaynightcraftalong hosted by the lovely @lisapinenotes for the USA/Canada/South America
I’m happy to be working on making some decorative dish towels with green flange. One of the things I really enjoy about sewing is that whatever you make it’s one of a kind unless of course it’s a kit.
I have more towels and fabric to keep me going! 😍🧵

Our quilt guild, Smithtown Stitchers, had an orphan block auction this past Fall to help support the guild. I won the bid for 12 blocks! I wasn’t sure how I was going to finish them, but I love quilts with black & white fabric. I eventually decided to replace a few of the blocks. I enjoyed choosing the sashing, cornerstone, purple outer border (my favorite color) & binding fabric. Thank you @rainbowsendquilting for your gorgeous fabric selection! I am beyond happy with the finish. I’ve never used bamboo batting before, and yes it drapes so nicely. The backing is a @tulapink minky fabric….so soft. 🥰🧵

I’m side stepping a bit to make some quilted postcards. These will be sold in Long Island & proceeds benefit Hospice of Suffolk County & Visiting Nurse Services. I hope to complete some more!
