Celebrating 5 incredible years in New York City as a freelance photographer today! These annual milestones leave me emotional as I reflect on my journey, the talented individuals I've collaborated with, and the amazing opportunities I've had, from exhibitions to publications in Harper's BAZAAR, L'Officiel, Schön, InStyle, Esquire, Grazia, and many more. As an immigrant female artist, I'm honored to have made a name for myself here, shooting album covers for musicians - a dream come true! 🪞🌟 GOLDEN ERA 👑🤍 This birthday felt unforgettable. It filled with experiences, lessons, love, heartbreak, growth, and so much joy. I spent the day feeling nothing but gratitude for everything and everyone in my life. I was overwhelmed by all the messages, celebrations, and love. Being far from where I was born, I’m especially grateful for the friends who became family along the way. Dance, laughter, support and love over these years was incredibly taught me how every child of this earth needs compassion and LOVE!!! love matters the most of all in everything we do! And somehow New York decided to celebrate too. The Knicks won on my birthday night, turning the city into one giant love fest. A free ticket to Pacha opening night to see Rampa, an unexpected bouquet of peonies and roses from a kind stranger, dancing into the sunset with my best friends while watching the NYC skyline… it all felt like a beautiful reminder that life keeps surprising you. I’m proud of the woman I’ve become. More grounded, more grateful, more myself. -KEEP THE LIGHT ON WITHIN YOU! So excited to share a story I created for my hometown, Türkiye, with ELLE magazine @elleturkiye, featuring a rising star—amazing musician and singer gorgeous Selin. @selin.gecit 🥹🌟 I still get chills seeing the magazine on the racks, filled with images from our New York shoot.
