Twenty-five years ago today in San Francisco I found my dad after he had suffered a massive heart attack at only 55 years old. I did my best to perform CPR until the paramedics arrived, but it was to late.. My dad was beautiful and complicated—but a guy who would do anything for you. He had the most amazing red hair. A true one-of-a-kind. He was a proud Local 85 Teamster and he loved being a truck driver I miss Red 💔❤️ 11/1/1945-4/25/2001Learn CPR! You can watch a short video online! My dad would be 80 today. It breaks my heart that he died at only 55 years old! I feel sad for all the life he missed but grateful for the 26 years I had with him. Life is terminal and should be treated as the gift that it is 💝Happy Birthday Red ❣️ by @sf_coolchick

January 2025, it will be 5 years since I was diagnosed with inoperable non small cell lung cancer.. in Sept 2022, it progressed to stage 4 when it metastasized to my bones (shoulder, spine, pelvis)This is not sad it just is.🩵🤍Cancer has brought me to the healthiest happiest I have ever been. I never dwell.. I actually feel grateful.Life is short.. every day is a gift 💝 by @sf_coolchick

In September, after keeping his ashes for 23 years, I finally buried my dad. It was hard but time. The day was beautiful.. He enlisted to go to Vietnam in 1966 and spent 2 years there.. I miss my father every day 💙 by @sf_coolchick
