MAYBECK’S Historically Significant Gothic-inspired 5260 sq ft creation in Presidio Heights (c. 1909). GOSLINSKY HOUSE almost entirely intact, but for kitchen and bathroom updates in the 1980s. No pending permits of any kind.

Last sold for $8.5M in 2024 (⬇️ listed for $9.9M).

Photo Study of the homes of Haight Ashbury. All taken by sf_daily_photo around 2017. The very 1st slide is one of my all time favorites. So much so that it makes my ❤️ skip a beat each and every time I see it.

This home was built in 1908 and features key Mission Revival traits such as the shaped parapet, smooth stucco exterior, and red-tile roof blended with Edwardian period details like stained glass windows, ornate woodwork, and decorative moldings.

Unfortunately I cannot show you the well-preserved interiors because this Haight Ashbury gem was the subject of the 1st Cease & Desist letter I received. As is my custom and as a courtesy I removed the entire post even though the exterior shot was my own photo.

You can see the interiors of 880 Ashbury on Redfin. It’s definitely worth a look.

Lastly and in furtherance of my effort to show how ridiculously bothersome all this is, I will be posting every Cease & Desist letter as they come.

Yesterday in an apparent attempt to scare me, I received a cease-and-desist letter from an attorney on behalf of a realtor who does not like my page. Needless to say, I was very upset not because I was scared, but because I was forced to delete posts that included my own photos. I’m sorry I can’t go into more detail here, but suffice it to say, I have been posting to sf_daily_photo since 2016 and I will continue to do so going forward.

Two Carmel-by-the-Sea homes. The 1st is the only CA oceanfront home FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT EVER DESIGNED (c. 1952). Sold for $22M in 2023. A modest 1402 square feet that sold for an absolutely crazy $15,692 per sq ft. Do the math🤪

1768 sq ft House 2, just down the road, but on the other side of Scenic Dr. Clearly still has views to die for, just a little farther away. Remodeled around 2016-17. Currently asking $11.5M, down from $11.95M or a slightly less astounding $6505 per sq ft😳
