@sfasubandcamps was a BLAST! So many new bassoon memories!!! It’s always a pleasure to have new faces join us in Nacogdoches during these couple weeks. Counselors @_lucassoo_ and @kersey_tyler had a great time. ☀️🎶💜

See you in the Fall!

As a whirlwind of a semester comes to an end, the bassoons celebrated at Dr. Hunter’s house with the @sfasaxophones! There were games, crawfish, and, of course, hot dogs. Bravi tutti to the studio on a fantastic year, can’t wait to see what’s next!! ☀️🌭

PS- Congratulations on surviving this year’s Masterworks with the @sfasymphonyorchestra! Beethoven’s 9th Symphony is no small feat! 👏

Dr. Hunter represented the SFA Bassoon Studio by giving a masterclass and performing with Fox Products artist Susan Miranda at the 2026 International Duo Symposium in Costa Rica. It was great to meet friends, old and new, and connect with bassoonists in a different part of the world. Special thank you to hosts Fernando Zúñiga-Chanto and Orquídea Guandique-Araniva for a fantastic experience. 🇨🇷🎶 by @sfa_bassoons
