The journey to becoming a Lumberjack took an exciting step forward today. 🪓

Admitted students for fall 2026 in the Lumberjack Early Achievement and Decision (LEAD) program spent the day on campus meeting faculty and staff, attending a basketball game, and were the first to register for orientation and housing.

Want to be next? Later this month, housing and orientation registration will be available only to admitted fall 2026 students who have submitted their bacterial meningitis vaccination and Texas Success Initiative (TSI) documentation. Submit yours now to be ready!

Interested in coming to campus? Register for our next Showcase Saturday on Feb. 21 at the link in our bio.

Questions or need help confirming your documents? Contact admissions@sfasu.edu. 💜

Right now, Lumberjacks are studying for finals and getting ready for the upcoming Thanksgiving break. We think Campus Recreation does an amazing job at finding the balance of work and relaxation at its Destress-fest. With treats and cuddly critters, it’s hard to complain.

If these Lumberjacks entered a cute contest, they’d win first place. Check out these cuties for a little Monday pick-me-up.
