Today, we honor and celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of equality.

As a council rooted in diversity and brotherhood/sisterhood, we recognize the immeasurable contributions, sacrifices, and achievements of our Black brothers and sisters. While our council is proudly majority Hispanic, we stand alongside our Black community members in recognizing the significance of this day and the history it represents.

May we continue to uplift one another, learn from one another, and work together toward a future built on unity, respect, and opportunity for all.

Happy Juneteenth! by @sfamgc
