It's that time of year again 👻🍬 Trunk or Treat, hosted by BART Police, returns! This year, we're bringing the fun to Lake Merritt Station!

BART PD's Trunk or Treat will run from 4pm to 7pm⏲️ Families will enjoy tons of activities, including trick-or-treating around the plaza at decorated police vehicles stocked full of candy. Other activities include carnival-style games, minute-to-win-it games, prizes, treats, free caricatures and surprises!

Take BART to Dreamforce next week and use Tap and Ride! Riders can pay adult fares at BART fare gates using physical contactless credit or debit cards or mobile payment methods, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Use BART's Trip Planner for detailed routes and transit options.

Dreamforce is Salesforce's annual conference, and it's returning to San Francisco on October 14-16. The Moscone Center will host the event that features, over 1,200 keynotes, sessions, workshops, and demos, featuring innovative product launches, world leaders, product experts, AI visionaries, and more.

The Moscone Center is located at 747 Howard Street in the bustling SOMA district of San Francisco. Conference attendees can take BART to Powell St Station, a short 0.5 miles away from the event.

👋BART is hosting a second open houses tomorrow, Wednesday Oct., 8 for Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) at Fremont Station. BART wants rider and community member ideas and feedback for potential development on a portion of the station’s surface parking lots.

📅 Wednesday, October 8, from 7:30am to 9:30am

📍Fremont Station, on the eastern side in the covered, unpaid concourse area by the bus shelters

What is planned for Fremont Station? BART will pursue development in two phases.

1️⃣ The first phase will consist of developing about 8 acres on the east side of the station near Mowry Avenue, which is currently being used for BART parking. The goal is to solicit developer interest in spring 2026, analyze their responses through a competitive process, and obtain approval of the selected developer from BART’s Board of Directors about six months later.

2️⃣Once complete, the selected developer, BART, and the City of Fremont will engage with BART riders, community members, and other stakeholders throughout the Transit-Oriented Development design and permitting process.

Follow BART intern Lexi on a visit to some of the places around Millbrae Station! 🏨🦞🧘

Local businesses, residents, and travelers benefit when they’re located near BART stations. As part of BART’s Impact series, we’re looking at one BART station at a time to understand how a single station can transform the economy, social fabric, and culture of a city. Millbrae Station--a gateway to the Peninsula and the point of convergence for BART, Caltrain, and SamTrans--is a prime example of how BART has a huge impact on the surrounding community.

It's not hard to get to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass; just take BART and Muni.

Take BART to Montgomery St Station, then transfer to a 30th Ave-bound Muni 5 Fulton or 5R Fulton rapid Muni bus. Exit at 25th or 30th Ave.

You can also take BART to Civic Center/UN Plaza, then transfer to the Muni N Judah and exit at 31st or 34th Ave.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is a FREE annual music festival held in Golden Gate Park. The festival features six stages and eighty acts from a wide array of genres including country, folk, blues, and soul. taken in Golden Gate Park by @sfbartable
