Bethany Pfeiffer, State Fair Community College Boonville campus director, was named the 2026 Outstanding Employee of the Year by her peers during the college’s employee recognition dinner in June. Pfeiffer has served as director of the SFCC–Boonville campus since 2018.

That's a wrap on the first day of New Student Orientation!

Today, students took part in a new SFCC tradition that pays homage to our humble beginnings as "Plywood U." Each student customized a small plywood magnet with a message or illustration before placing it on a steel sculpture featuring large SFCC letters, designed and built by our Precision Machining and Welding faculty.

The magnets will remain on display throughout each student's time at SFCC. When they cross the stage at commencement in two years, they'll take their magnet with them as a reminder of where their journey began. 💙 by @sfccmo
