Morning garden check in. I just wanted to tell you guys that I’ve never done this before, because I wanted you to know that it’s all just experimental and you can do it, too, even in pots and tiny spaces. Some plants don’t succeed but others thrive. I’m learning more about growing vegetables every day and it’s one of the most gratifying things I’ve ever done, so grow your garden if it’s something you’ve always to do. It makes you so feel satisfied and happy. And we all need a little more of that! by @sfgirlbybay

Got this old wrought iron plant stand and a bunch of clay pots at an estate sale for $25 bucks and I potted them all today with herbs and seedlings. I can’t be stopped. I’m a crazy plant lady now. by @sfgirlbybay

It was so satisfying to grow these beets, roast them and then eat them and hey, they were delicious. Grow stuff, it feels good. This recipe is: Toasted baguette with ricotta cheese, sliced roasted red beets, a drizzle of olive oil, orange peel zest and some Maldon salt. You also might watch the new Zach Galifianakis show, This Is A Gardening Show for inspiration. I loved it and hope they make more. The End. by @sfgirlbybay

Today is our five year anniversary and I can’t believe these years have gone by so quickly. It feels like yesterday that you came and made my house a real home. I love you, Frances, let’s do this forever, together. And many, many thanks to @newbeginningsforanimals for bringing this little fuzzball into my life when I wasn’t quite sure I was ready.
