NO ON PROP D!!
Our San Francisco Charter, like the US Constitution, defines our citizens’ rights. Unique to the era, San Franciscans have had the right of citizen initiatives since our founding in 1898. Citizen initiatives have created some of the most important and impactful laws in SF history. Without Citizen initiatives we would not have had increases in minimum wage, a law banning corrupted donations from city contractors to politicians, and establishment of child care, rent control and affordable housing for example. The ballot is the real stuff of our lives.

Prop D, the Mayor’s charter reform power grab, makes our citizen initiatives so expensive it essentially steals them from us. It steals our right to place measures on the ballot to vote on what’s important to us and hold politicians, corporations, and billionaire bullies accountable.

Indivisible fights to put power in the hands of citizens to choose a much much better future. What is the SF future you’d like to see: regulated AI that improves workers' well-being; freedom from mass surveillance; and truly affordable living for all? VOTE NO ON D. WE DECIDE OUR FUTURE!

Nurses, parents, and the queer community are all standing up and voting NO on Prop D this November!

What’s being packaged as a “clean up city hall” measure would make it FOUR TIMES harder for organizations and San Franciscans to put an initiative on the ballot, shifting power away from the people and toward those with money and influence.

Do you really want billionaires deciding what you vote for?

San Francisco’s democracy belongs to all of us, not just the wealthy.

With Chinese parents, getting a D on your report card is a bad just like Prop D. Vote NO on Prop D to keep your parents proud.

@seiu2015 endorses NO ON PROP D!

SEIU Local 2015 is the largest union in California, representing more than half a million long-term care workers (home care, skilled nursing facility, and assisted living center workers) throughout the state. They are also the largest long-term care union in the U.S. and the largest local union in SEIU.

Their members are as diverse as the state’s population but united in their commitment to caring for California’s older adults and those with disabilities.

Prop D is a ballot measure on this November’s election that will make it harder for you to put anything on the ballot unless you have $4.5M laying around.

It’s part of the charter reform package D E A F that will usher in a new wave of corruption where only the wealthy can play. It’s pay to play politics and you’re the one getting screwed.

United Educators of San Francisco President Cassondra Curiel is voting No on Prop D, because it will take away our ability to put issues on the ballot that we care about: like increasing teacher salaries, child care for all, protecting seniors from evictions, among so many others! by @sfnoond
