Where do you even begin to describe the Lord’s goodness?

This past week, 14 others and I got an amazing opportunity to get out of our comfort zone, and share the gospel boldly in LA.

A week that consisted of:
- Multiple visits to the streets and mission partners of Skid Row at Fred Jordan Missions.
- Helping the Hope Center & ServeLA in Hollywood with their Dinner Service.
- Having Jesus Conversations in an outdoor shopping area at The Grove.
- 2 Chapel services with Fred Jordan for our friends on Skid Row to hear the message of the Gospel.
- A park day in a suburb right outside of Compton where families and kids had sports, crafts, hot dogs & a Bible Story w/ a Gospel message attached!

But there was also so much more than that… this week also consisted of:
- Heart change towards more of how Jesus sees the world
- Prayers over one another as a team, as well as countless prayers for the people we met
- Stories that I couldn’t even imagine a human being needing to go through being heard from friends on Skid Row and in Hollywood
- Most importantly…. Life change as lost souls come home to their savior!!!

To attempt to put into words how this experience shows God’s goodness wouldn’t do it justice it. If Life looks like this, and the Goodness of God is ANYTHING like what this past week was like, sign me up :) by @sgamauf

Voices -> Unified
Worship -> Glimpses of Heaven

Learning about God can be described with words
Being with God makes you run out of words

A Glimpse of Heaven

I think it’s very rare we get small moments to peak into the amazingness that Heaven is going to be like, but I would like to picture that April 10th-13th was the closest you can get.

For anyone who wasn’t there…
- Over 50 Children ran home to the Father
- Over 50 people declared that Jesus was Lord through Baptism
- Had multiple Victory Royales
- Ran around with my fellow Hasbulla’s in an attempt to win the weekend in points.
- Gave glory back to Jesus for everything he has changed in the lives of people there

And so much more…

These people in this band make it so easy to lift music to Jesus. No one else I’d rather go ballistic with on stage. Too many sweet moments to count with these guys. Thank you a ton :)

If you’ve never seen this or experienced this, it’s not off the table. There is LIFE that is found in a walk with Jesus. It may look like we’re crazy, and it may look like it’s all grasping at straws, but its real life changed by a real God. The only way I can say to experience the life change he brings is to experience it for yourself. If you’ve never given Jesus a chance, it’s real. The joy you see is real.

If you wanna know what 700+ young adults were doing this past weekend… look no further.

Figured I should probably post something cause it’s been a while sense I did. (14 Months)

Genuine

That was my word this year. I don’t like choosing New Year’s resolution cause I never keep them. I love a word because it’s something that I can post above my door in my room, or I can always remind myself of.

I hated being not genuine. It made me so sad to know that I has to put on some fake face. A face that hid so much from people. While I still have all sorts of problems with that, 2022 sure suceeded in showing me how to be genuine. Through highs, lows, and highs again, the Lord revealed so much to me this year.

I based Genuine off of this verse,

Romans 12:9 “Let love be Genuine. Abhor what is evil, hold fast to what is good.”

Here are some “Genuine” moments rhat 2022 held. All of these were times that I can say, I had the time of my life here on earth this year. Thanks to everyone who’s in here. Even if you aren’t in here, I promise you had an impact on my year. If Instagram let me post more than 20 people, I could keep going forever really.
