Batman #655 marks the first full appearance of Damian Wayne, the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul, created by legendary writer Grant Morrison and artist Andy Kubert. Although Damian was first introduced as a child in Batman: Son of the Demon and later conceptually revisited, this issue officially introduces him into DC continuity as the heir to the Batman legacy. Raised by the League of Assassins, Damian arrives in Gotham believing he is destined to replace his father, bringing arrogance, exceptional combat skills, and a completely different outlook on justice. Let me know in the comments below what comic books you picked up!Leading the charge is Absolute Catwoman #1, one of the most anticipated books from DC’s Absolute Universe. Whether you’re picking up the main cover or one of the stunning variants, this series looks poised to be a major addition to the new Absolute line. Catwoman has always been one of Gotham’s most compelling characters, and I’m excited to see where this new version of Selina Kyle takes us.The haul wouldn’t be complete without a little chaos, and that’s where Joker #1 comes in. Featuring one of the most recognizable villains in comic book history, this issue reminds us why the Clown Prince of Crime remains one of the most collected characters in the hobby. The cover alone is enough to grab your attention.Also making its way into the collection is Absolute Green Lantern #1. The Absolute Universe continues to expand, and this fresh take on Green Lantern is one of the books I’ve been looking forward to the most. Looking forward to getting him to sign this book when I see him at a con this year!Next up is the NEW @starwars Rogue One Jyn Erson #1 this new series dives deeper in the Star Wars universe and the story of Jyn Erson from Star Wars: Rogue One, one of the greatest Star Wars movies made during the Kathleen Kennedy era at Lucas Film. This issue is jam packed with lots of action and will deffiently become one of those stories that I will be adding to my pull box at the LCS.Are you a fan of the new @batman story? If you are, you need to go pick up the new Batman #10 this comic book picks up after the arrest of Barbara Gordon in issue #9 HIGHLY RECOMMEND Those that know me knows that I am a HUGE fan of @thealexrossart so when I saw this on the rack, I had to pick it up.
