To San Antonio FC, the city of San Antonio, the best fans in the league and this incredible community that I’ve grown to love so much!

From the moment I arrived you welcomed me like family with open arms. This place, these people, this club have all left a massive imprint on my heart forever.
Our 2022 championship year will always be one of the greatest moments of my career but what made it truly special were the fans who lived every second with us, the city that embraced us and my teammates who became my brothers. The memories we created together are countless. But the many relationships that were formed throughout my time in the Alamo city are for life!

There were ups and downs, highs and lows but we always stuck together. Through everything, I fell in love with this club, this city, the supporters, the organization and the community that gave me so much pride to show up every time I stepped on the field. That’s what makes this so difficult and emotional!
San Antonio became home and leaving isn’t something I ever imagined would weigh this heavy.

But I’m optimistic and excited for what destination and challenge comes next in my career and I carry every lesson, every moment and every relationship from here with me.
This isn’t goodbye and never will be. It’s just see you later!

Thank you, San Antonio. For everything 🖤❤️⚽️ taken in San Antonio, Texas by @sgomez__02

To honor and celebrate! 🖤🤍

Huge thanks to @archivemuseum for guiding us through some incredible stories of Black history in San Antonio!

From La Villita to St. Philip’s and beyond, we celebrated the impact of African American leaders, businesses, and culture! Let’s keep learning and honoring this history every day! 🖤 by @sgomez__02
