What a full-circle moment! 🙌 Had so much fun performing at halftime for the St. Genevieve Homecoming game! Seeing some of my old high school friends brought back so many memories. Feels like just yesterday I was walking those Valiant halls, getting ready for the school talent show. And now, all these years later, I’m back doing what I love. From the high school talent show to the homecoming halftime show. Some things never change! Once a Valiant, always a Valiant! 💙🎤 taken in Los Angeles Valley College by @sgpsvaliants

ST. GENEVIEVE WELCOMES ROBERT “BOBBO”MARCIAL-NEW HEAD SOFTBALL COACH:

Robert “Bobbo” Marcial is a San Fernando native and a graduate of Cleveland High School. In 2002, Robert began his baseball career at the University of Nevada, Reno. After graduation, Marcial began his professional baseball career with the Atlanta Braves. His career lasted from 2005-2009, where he was twice recognized for his community service efforts.

Following his professional career, Robert began coaching baseball at the junior college level for 13 years. Recently, he made the switch to coaching softball at Los Angeles Valley College. His professionalism and knowledge of playing at the elite level has definitely been a boost for the LA Valley College softball program.

Coach “Bobbo” said, “I wanted to be at St. Genevieve because the school stands for more than just wins and losses. Being at a faith-based school gives me the opportunity to help young women grow not only as a softball players, but as students, teammates, leaders, and people of character.”
