And with that, the first season of @sgvsymphony has come to an end! This last performance with @vidgameslive marks my debut as a choir director. A massive shoutout to our wonderful choir: @jessicarauvoice, @annettejohnsonmusic, @fanta.ofthe.opera, @genevieve.fv, @softpower.wav, @halleyskim, @lisamargaroli, @meghanrosescott, @jaimebarcelon, @mariorelu.sings, @s_miller1002, @sjporter13, @calvid_19_hsu, @oscarpanmusic, and James Kerrigan. Thanks @alisonlewismusic, @nfpratamaofficial, and @juanacreates for spreading the word.

It was a joy singing with these stellar voices and sharing the front stage with @jessicarauvoice for "Lumiere" from @expedition33official.

Running rehearsals with former professor turned colleague @esinaydingoz was a blast (we even performed her music from Mya of the Desert)! Preparing the choir for composers @jasonhayesmusic and @gkmarino007 was the honor of a lifetime. Thank you Alex Deng and @tommytallarico for trusting me with delivering an unforgettable performance. Also honored to share the stage with @olivia.marino1 and @kriss_drummer.

I’ve loved following @sgvsymphony since its inception at Barnes Park. It’s a beautiful celebration of locally rooted, fandom-driven music. Since then, we’ve done flagship concerts, free mini-concerts, supported local movements, and dropped merch. I’ve witnessed an orchestra that isn't just playing music, but acting as a movement spearheaded by a young, community-rooted generation.

I’m so happy I got to wear many hats this season, from taking photo/video and producing needlessly high production short form content, to logistics, coordinating, arranging, and directing. Regardless of the hat, I’m just happy this community has become my family. I’m excited to work with everyone again, but just as excited to be present with these amazing people.

See y'all in Season Two!
