POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@siadvance covering the approval of the “Ben Soto Project” I led earlier this year.
My colleague @leoheinert and I worked tirelessly to draft up proposals & designs that would finally persuade the governing bodies of Staten Island to rebuild the skatepark into a modern concrete design after a decade of advocacy.
With so much community backing we pleaded an indisputable case that led to them integrating the idea into their “Shoreline Parks Plan” that will ultimately fund the reconstruction & needless to say i’m so thankful that this has been made possible for our future generations to flourish off the fruits of our labor!
Very soon our home will be restored to it’s former glory, and we will get the skatepark we most rightfully deserve! taken in Benjamin Soto Skatepark by @sha0linsfinest

NEW DECKS AVAILABLE AT YOUR LOCAL @RICHMONDHOODCO ⚓️🐞🗽

I’ve been riding for my local Skate Shop for over a decade and I finally had the honor of collaborating on their newest series of skateboards. We completly overhauled them into a twin shape with a 14” wheelbase.

Once they came in you know @matttakesflicks and I had to get busy and did a field test with the crew over at our local Faber Skatepark. I ended up with one of my favorite photos i’ve ever shot and tons of real-time feedback on the new boards. I hope everyone enjoys them because we’ve put a lot of thought in how these ride based on the preferences of our community. Thank you Richmond Hood for giving us the creative outlet to continue the work that you started.

If you haven’t already go order some now before they’re gone and be on the look-out for something really special i’ve been working on 🤫

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST 🗣️

Yesterday St. George Council Member @kamillahmhanks posted this comment which has cemented her commitment to our proposal for a new Skatepark in
St. George, Staten Island, New York City. She escalated the project through capital funding allocating $5 Million for this undertaking and to say we are ecstatic to see things moving along would be an understatement.
We have all worked tirelessly to make this a reality, and without the support of our community none of this would even be possible. Thank you so much to @richmondhoodco for cultivating our partnerships with @kamillahmhanks, @nycparks, & @nycedc to make this dream come to life 🥹

We’ve known about this for quite some time but there hasn’t been any official announcements on the logistics of everything just yet.

Please make sure to follow us and join our “broadcast channel” to keep up-to-date on any further updates!! taken in Staten Island, New York by @sha0linsfinest

It’s been awhile but this one by @ol_drippy was too good not to share. Excerpted from his recent video part with @codaskateboards.

@ny1 covering our event at Fresh Kills Park in Staten Island back in October 2024 to develop a new Skatepark at that location. We have been advocating long & hard for this so seeing this kind of progress hits so different. The energy & love we felt throughout the entirety of that day is unforgettable and it was amazing to see everyone coming together to make an impact in our community. We will continue to work on projects that create more safe spaces for people to express themselves however they choose and provide resources to those who feel marginalized. We will not backdown until we see this through, and we hope that our passion for these projects shine through.

Thank you @richmondhoodco for speaking on our collaborative effort & supporting our vision from day 1. None of this would be possible without the contributions of our community which we give everything to see flourish. Everybody’s collective efforts make this special for everyone involved, and we are more appreciative than words can ever express 🫶🏾 taken in Staten Island, New York by @sha0linsfinest

@westgatebrandon blasting a KF over this gap in St George that I can tell you from personal experience is an instant bust. The fact he got away with this is incredible and that was just for the intro.
