We are slowlllly making progress in our coffee shop space— && with the walls being up, we can better envision what we want this space to look like. We had a really busy end to the summer, so we are going to really turn it up a notch now and get. it. done. by @shadedbloomcoffee

Arts & Apples in Rochester this weekend- I wish we could explain how insane this whole week is, every year. The amount of prep we put into it is so crazy. This is when I usually give Derrick my two weeks notice, but by the end of the weekend, I ask for my job back. by @shadedbloomcoffee

Arts & Apples in Rochester is this weekend and we will be there allllll weekend long. It starts on Friday at 2pm and ends Sunday at 4pm. We will have bottled lattes and an Apple Pie Cold Cream Cold Brew on special! It’s looking like a beautiful weekend, bring your fam :) by @shadedbloomcoffee

Just wanted to make an announcement that we are still without power and internet (day 4). We attempted to run our roaster with the generator we have and, unfortunately, it couldn’t power it. So thank you for your patience as we wait this out and we will fulfill orders as soon as we are able :) by @shadedbloomcoffee

Roast Retreat 2026- the only photo I managed to get. We had such an amazing time nerding out on coffee, talking to so many new people, seeing friends we haven’t seen in a long time and finally meeting others in real life— @ooooooatmilk & @amelienoelle with @washedupcoffee put on an amazing event, as usual! We are forever grateful for the coffee community in Michigan, it’s such an awesome group to be a part of. by @shadedbloomcoffee

We’ve had some questions about this space- people wondering how big our cafe area is actually going to be and what the rest of the building will be. So we made a quick video and hopefully this answers some questions. Make sure you follow @lake_orion_sportscenter for their updates too! by @shadedbloomcoffee

Good news: our bags will be here early next week. Bad news: they won’t be here on time for the Roast Retreat this Saturday with @washedupcoffee
Hope to see you there 🤗 by @shadedbloomcoffee

Same great coffee, but with temporary bags. Our printed bags are taking longer than expected to get here, and have been delayed, but we should have them back in a couple weeks :) by @shadedbloomcoffee

Update on the buildout of our coffee shop progress- we are finishing tearing everything out, and starting this weekend, we will start to put everything back together. Walls are going up next week to create a total separate space from the rest of the building. by @shadedbloomcoffee

We started the demo on our new space in Lake Orion, inside @lake_orion_sportscenter — the former Basketball America. We are taking over the cafe space only, doing majority of the work ourselves and putting up walls so it will be a separate space from the rest of the building. The new owners of the building are completely redoing the rest of the space, and we cannot wait to see it all come together. by @shadedbloomcoffee

Okay, Lake Orion, we are coming back! We are super excited to be working with the new owners of @lake_orion_sportscenter to turn this space into a full, sit down coffee shop. We will take you along for the ride while we renovate it— and we cannot wait to serve you again! by @shadedbloomcoffee

Wholesale delivery day- with the first 2 stops of the morning at @weebeancoffeeco in downtown Lake Orion and @little.big.coffee in Waterford on Dixie.

Both of these businesses have the sweetest owners (also both women owned) and we are so grateful to work with them! If you haven’t been to one or the other, make sure to check them out :) by @shadedbloomcoffee
