Joined the coolest tribe and I’ve been thinking so much about how this is really my life 🥹 I get to be in a hands-on creative space like I’ve always wanted. I know people often say how a lot can happen in a year and it sometimes sounds cliche but tbh, my journey this year has been proof and God keeps showing out.

Grateful for moments like this that gives you a validation to keep going. Grateful for this new phase. Grateful for the people I have met and will still meet on this journey.

Maybe one day, I’ll share the story but…

Thinking back at my time at the Miva Convocation, I couldn’t help but remember all the things I saw that made me want to try school again. The joy on the faces of the graduates, their loved ones coming to celebrate with them, and the accolades for students who performed exceptionally well. Need to give myself that soon. 🥹

Can’t wait to bet on myself and finally get a degree in something I truly love, not just a course that sounds good to people.

There’s really something about the concept of graduations that just make sense! It’s like a perfect reward 🥹

Last week, I had the privilege of getting invited to the first ever Miva Convocation Ceremony and it was a mix of so many emotions.

I sat in that room and remembered the girl in 2024 who was crying because she wouldn’t be convoking with her friends and then watching her get invited to a convocation ceremony because she decided to start vlogging online. I really want to tell her that everything does get better with time and with God.

I’m really so proud of all the graduates because I know what this means, I really do. They truly deserve to be celebrated because first, they put in the work and secondly, they are graduating from a prestigious university like Miva.

The Miva University offers a wide range of courses, some of which I was surprised to find out they were offering. So yeah, take this as your sign to get that degree for the plot.

Truth be told, I’ve imagined way too many times what goes on behind-the-scenes of the Crea8torium set especially because of the quality of work they produce so when the opportunity came for me to spend a day at the Crea8torium Universe, I immediately said YES!

This experience was everything I imagined it to be and more. Big thank you to the @crea8torium team for opening their doors to us. I really really enjoy being a Circle Member 💛

This wasn’t how I intended to finally answer all the many skincare compliments I get. I wanted to do a boujee video or probably a carousel to talk about it but to be honest, who cares? 😂

Saw these clips I shot randomly last month, and I just decided to merge them together. Maybe I might do a “boujee” video later or not 😂

One thing about me? I love a spontaneous movie date so when the good people @krakscentral invited me for the private screening of Scary movie 6, I knew I just had to be there. Big thank you to @thenileentertainment @nilecinemas for being the best place to watch and unwind, it was an amazing experience and I loved it.

If you asked me what one highlight of May was, I wouldn’t even have to think about it. The Finding Home Tour Lagos by @121selah, every time.

Getting to work as one of the assistant team leads for the content team on this (alongside @musicwithmabel 🤍) was something I didn’t take for granted.

Our team lead @tbml.co (Big Mo, not the little one!😙😂) led with so much clarity + intentionality, and it made showing up easy for all of us.

It’s one thing to love 121 Selah’s music, & it’s another to be behind the scenes with them, watching the dedication and joy that goes into everything they do. That part stayed with me.

What made it even more special was the team we got to do it with. A lot of us were meeting for the first time and it never once felt like that. We were united in purpose from day one and it showed in everything we created together.
