That 5-seconds of making Yoongi smile meant the world to me & I don’t even know if I will get over it in my lifetime. I originally have tickets for the Clippers game in which everyone thought Yoongi was going to attend. My world crashed when I saw that he posted himself holding a Lakers jersey. I didn’t want to spend a car payment on another set of tickets. The previous night I begged my late husband to help me see Suga, and as if he heard me from heaven - I received $xxx worth of credit to spend specifically on any event/concert I wish (yesterday 1/11) -that I ended up getting Lakers’ tickets at the last minute! It will be my husband’s 4th year death anniversary next Friday and I have been asking him to help me overcome grief - and he really did! When he was still alive, he would buy me any concert or event ticket or surprise me with gifts, this has not changed even after his death. I believe that love transcends no boundaries.

P.S. If anyone can help me find the person who took the jumbotron video, please let me know - I would like to extend my gratitude.

I am watching 🏀Lakers vs. Mavericks and right across my section is Min Yoongi & the only 2 people between us are LeBron & Doncic LOL 😂! Las Vegas, NV Day 1,2,3,4 --- Las Vegas is definitely one of my lucky cities because I had 3 VIP days and Yoongi was somehow always somewhere in my proximity. I really enjoyed the soundchecks and seeing what they were wearing each day. By Vegas, I had already memorized the setlist and pretty much knew what to expect during each segment, so I could just enjoy the concerts more and focus on what was happening around me. I still somehow messed up my parade videos though LOL. There was also so much going on in Vegas even on the non concert days, and I went to the AMAs in between to see BTS win. And for summer in Vegas, the weather actually cooperated, so I really can't complain.

Stanford, CA Day 1,2,3 --- Stanford started while the sun was still up, which made the whole show feel so different. There was a lot of talk about Stanford’s noise policy and some livestreams made it seem like the crowd was dull, but being there was completely different because it was actually really loud. I had the best time because I used to come to the Stanford area for work, so being back there for BTS felt really special, and the boys seemed to really like the vibe too. I had major issues with my phone and messed up some of my settings, which was honestly frustrating, but I was still so happy to be there and had such a great time across all three days.

Tampa, FL Day 1,2,3---Tampa is the 1st NA leg & was my first barricade, my first Level 100 Row 1, and I also had a Row 3. I messed up the parade videos all three days LOL but somehow I still got to see them so much closer. JK did Baepsae right in my face at barricade while Yoongi was also up close, and Namjoon and I had eye contact. I got some of my best pictures of V, and Jimin was definitely dinner every night 🫣. Jin and Hobi unfortunately didn’t come much to any of my three sections, but there was still so much happening every night. The Tampa weather was also so nice, even the boys mentioned it. Every night we had to walk about 30 minutes to a restaurant so we could easily get an Uber after we ate, but all worth it.

Goyang, South Korea Day 1, 2 & 3 --- The BTS Arirang Tour in Goyang opens the whole tour with 3 shows, and it starts with them walking into the stadium like they just came out of battle, in couture, full Braveheart energy. The storyline feels mystical and a little dark, with that Volturi kind of vibe in its own moments. Then separately, they take over the entire stadium during IDOL, literally moving around and owning every section like a full-on parade.

I was there all 3 days: Day 1, I was completely soaked in the rain, day 2 was freezing, and day 3 was perfect weather. And somehow it all just made it feel even more real, like I went through it with them.

They look more relaxed now but still perfectly in sync, and you can really feel how much they’ve grown. The vocals, the movements, everything just hits. Watching them doesn’t even feel like just a concert, it feels bigger than that. A BTS concert feels like worship, like its own kind of religion.

After almost 2 years of waiting, I finally get to see my 7 again - together! These past years have been full of change and challenges in my personal life, but I kept holding on. This trip is something I’ve been anticipating for so long. I worked full-time while pushing through H-1B cap season on my side hustle and made it to this point. And Shooky, who’s been traveling with me since 2020, is going back to his birthplace again lol. It’s going to be a lot, 19 shows ahead while working at the same time, probably stressful but worth it. Fangirling is not for the faint of heart, and while some people might think it’s cringe to love 7 men this loudly, they don’t know the comfort and strength it’s given me. Now it’s time to breathe.
