✦ Ranok EP out now ✦

Ranok was born from a simple idea — what if a live piano could meet electronics and emerge into the light. Kateryna Bublihova wrote parts that breathe and move, Shadow Unit wrapped them in layers of ambient textures and bass. The result — music like the first rays of light through a morning window, created to carry hope for something better.

I am happy to present New Day EP, released on @2064recordings While creating it, I was inspired by UK garage/2-step sounds, especially tracks released between 2010 and 2014. The release includes four tracks that work equally well in a club or when listening on headphones.

A1. New Day
A2. Darko
B1. Beside
B2. Try Again

The Dark Wood’s album “Orpheus” is a true flashback to 2015.

Back then, together with Igor Smailov, we created many tracks that we performed live at major festivals. Some of them were released on the German label Traum Schallplatten and the English label Carioca Records, but most remained unreleased. Now, nearly a decade later, it’s time to share them all.

Listen to The Dark Wood’s album “Orpheus” on all platforms. 🔗link in bio
