New Record FROG SWAN SONG out now!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

For the love of dog, please come see us play music (and bully your friends into coming with)

We’ll be all around the PNW, at some familiar stomping grounds, new venues, and awesome festivals. We hope to see lots of pals out there at the shows, campgrounds, sleeping couch corridors, truck stops, and tourist attractions!

Our tour manager, Rio the Dog (showcased on this awesome poster by @jaceyhelene) will keep us on track for each swimming hole, snuggle puddle, load-in/soundcheck, and every squirrel hunt.

Frog Swan Song was recorded in February 2024 @anacortesunknownstudio and engineered by Nicholas Wilbur, Zach Sullivan, and Alex Heubel.

Produced and mixed by our very own Brendan Casey & mastered by our sweet pal @inaiahlujan -what a dream team.

We are so grateful to all these pals who put their special touch on Frog Swan Song:

Our two road dog companions, out there on every tour of the past few years with us, @brickforcehero on drums, and @andrewcullinane on bass. They’re such dedicated, talented, and phenomenal musicians we’re so proud to call bandmates! Grinding out countless days of driving, rehearsal, and shows has been a joy and honor, thanks to these two kind, hilarious, and graceful fellas. Go check out their projects, @katanaboymusic and @andycullymusic !

@forrestvantuyl on pedal steel and banjo. What a guy. One of our oldest musician friends, that tracked his awesome loopy swoopies into the mix. Our favorite cowboy (and our personal super hero). His music is so honest and beautiful.

Peter Strasser on keys. The island’s most elusive and tallest sweetheart! Such an intuitive and inspiring musician, a dear friend, and fellow Shadow Basketeer when he’s around.

@shaynesm16 on saxophone. Our island doesn’t deserve Shayne. His kindness and keen attention, the love he puts into all things- friendship, music, organizing, community, and being a steward of all true and beautiful in this fucked up world.

@john_bellows and @glenn.hendrick on vocal harmonies. The OG DIYers and our beloved musical mentors. Both fantastic musicians, dedicated artists, and cornerstones of our little community. They inspire us every day, in music and ethic, they are the unassailable crusaders of the scene! We love you two!

Our hearts are full in a weary miners hotel in Butte, Montana, getting ready to load into the speakeasy and play tonight. Wishing Frog Swan Song a very happy release day tomorrow!

With love,
Jacey LaManna (@jaceyhelene ) on guitar, vocals, harmonies, and kazoo

And Kyle Lutz (@swamp_otter_kyle ) on guitar, vocals, and harmonies

We are the two songwriters for this special, collective, art project called Shadow Basket. Thanks for being part of it! by @shadow__basket

Y’all came out to film this with little to no idea what you were getting into and we couldn’t be more grateful.

This is the last single release before our album Frog Swan Song comes out on August 15th! We think it pairs well with an ice cold lemonade and a hotdog! Enjoy ⚾️ ❤️ by @shadow__basket
