Artist Spotlight: GDSM 🔥 On the mic for us at Shadow Jam Round 2 is none other than GDSM! DJ/MC GDSM grew up on the outskirts of London coming through the 90’s with an addiction to raves, cassette tapes from Raves and some very dead hours pirate radio sets and an ever slow growing vinyl collection playing what was then considered Old Skool, 18 years later he’s dusted the tunes off and ready for some blends on the other side of the world as a Brisbane local. Over the last 2 years GDSM has been playing gigs and rocking the mic locally in Brisbane at events such as Renegade Playground and Echo Chamber, and hosts a regular weekly pirate radio show on Underground Bass UK (London FM 94.6) and has also had guest appearances on UK based Kniteforce TV. Artist Spotlight: Dogmatic🔥 Introducing Brisbane's freshest DJ talent - Dogmatic! At the young age of only 13, Dogmatic had already made a name for himself both overseas as a weekly resident DJ on London's Underground Bass pirate radio station since May 2023, broadcast live on FM 94.6 within London and the UK, and streamed on Internet Radio, Youtube, Twitch and Facebook, and also locally, playing multiple sets in 2024 at Brisbane's Renegade Playground, QLD's Earth Frequency Festival (as the festival's youngest ever DJ at 13), LowKey Music & Art Festival, a surprise unplanned impromptu appearance scratching it up at the 2024 DMC Competition QLD Heats, and in 2025 picking up a weekly residency on Sydney Rave History and playing his first international support set warming up for New Zealand's 'Fluid Haunts' at Jungle Jam. Dogmatic draws his musical influences from some of Australia's pioneer rave scene DJs such as Brisbane's Angus and Thief, Sydney's Nik Fish, and international rave legends such as Carl Cox, Slipmatt, Joey Beltram and DJ Hype. His niche style of music and mixing is a mash-up of early-mid 90s rave, techno, house, breakbeat, jungle, hardcore and gabber, with a healthy dose of scratching and turntablism trickery thrown in. Artist Spotlight: Kranky🔥 Kranky lives and breathes breakbeat, from Old Skool Hardcore, Rave, Hardcore Breaks, through to Jungle and Drum n Bass. With over 20 years of experience, Kranky has DJ'ed both in QLD and interstate, and played sets supporting international DJs and artists such as DJ Hype & Daddy Earl (UK), LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad (UK), Micky Finn & Shabba D (UK), Tango (UK), A-Sides (UK), Concord Dawn (NZ), State of Mind (NZ), Skream (UK), Benga (UK), DJ Hybrid (UK), Fluid Haunts (NZ) and more. In 2006 he founded “Krankydigital.com”, an internet radio station based in Brisbane which ran from through to 2010, at its peak hosting live shows from over 30 DJs worldwide, including numerous well-known Brisbane locals. In 2010, his weekly radio show “Kranky’s Breakbeat Bonanza” was featured in an editorial of the seminal Drum n Bass magazine 'Knowledge' (KMag). From 2009 to 2014 Kranky co-ran Anomaly Digital Recordings with Stu Chapman (aka Lethal), a 140/Future Jungle/Breakbeat label, putting out 23 releases (61 tracks). From 2009 to 2014, Kranky had over twenty tracks released as part of the Kranky & Lethal duo on both ‘Anomaly Digital Recordings’, and Melbourne jungle outfit ‘Rising Lantern Records’. Between 2013 and 2015 Kranky held a weekly residency on AuzCAST.com, Australia's 'Drum n Bass TV station', and played a number of semi-regular guest shows on the infamous Kool London, pirate FM radio station. More recently, as of 2023, Kranky is currently a resident DJ on UK based pirate radio station Underground Bass (broadcast live in London and the UK on FM radio and Internet streaming), and as of 2025 now also a resident DJ on Sydney Rave History. Artist Spotlight: Reegze!🔥 In the concrete jungle of Brisbane, Reegze is known for his adaptiveness when it comes to niche genres of underground music including Dubstep, Halftime & Jungle/DNB. First influenced in 2015 by underground music festivals such as Tropical Bloom, Mushroom Valley and Happy Daze he now has played at many Festivals/Raves such as Earth Frequency, Archaic Gathering, Spring Campout, Swampy Conscience & Renegade Playground. As he followed the DNB to BNE, in 2019 he has developed a wide range of experience from DJing across South East Queensland and supporting the likes of S.P.Y, General Levy, DJ Hybrid, Whiney, Mrs Magoo, P Money, Unglued, The Upbeats, Delta Heavy, Zombie Cats, and Fluid Haunts just to name his favorites. Artist Spotlight: JMC🔥 From Ireland, JMC has background of over 10 years as a metal/grunge drummer until he got bit by the jungle bug, taken in by the breaks and heavy basslines. With the Initial Kru he ran weekly nights in Dublin for 7 years across various venues, bringing over the likes of Spirit, Seba, Makoto, Storm and many more. When you see this guy, expect to hear lot's of Digital, Spirit, Response, Gremlinz, Stranjah, Phobia and anything tastefully heavy getting collided together. Artist Spotlight: Bosco🔥 Bosco began his journey in Spain, where he first got into drum & bass and quickly connected with the deep, rolling sounds of the genre. After moving to Australia, he linked up with the Shadow Bass crew who are working to open up the drum and bass scene in the Gold Coast. Focusing on minimal and liquid drum & bass, Bosco is all about those deep, funky vibes. His sets are known for deep atmospheric sounds, intricate basslines, reverb and genre-bending. Whether playing intimate gigs or larger events, Bosco focuses on bringing a vibe that’s both energetic and brings some fun, while paying homage to the artists who inspire his mixes. With a passion for pushing the boundaries while staying true to the roots of drum & bass, Bosco continues to explore new sounds and share their love for the genre along the Coast.
