I know its not my usual Sonic centered post, and it may not be the best art you'll probably see of Prime right now, but I wanted to do my best on this anyways to commemorate the loss of Peter Cullen.
For those that don't know, Peter was the voice of the original Optimus in the debut Transformers show and later film, along with some other projects, and is by far one of his most iconic roles. He passed away a few days ago, and now it's left a hole for everybody that adored the way he brought Prime to life- even me, as a looser fan, that he kept the space full of care of the character for a little over forty years now. When you thought of Optimus, it was Peter Cullen's voice you would hear. And now he's gone.

His Optimus was a big thing for me growing up. He was, and still is, how I envision a leader to be, and I think he always will be the character 'baseline' for that. It may not seem like it, but he meant a lot to me even if not being my favorite Autobot, and was a big influence for how I perceived the 'leads' and how I would depict them myself.
I love his Optimus and that will always be the voice I think of when I see him in a picture, either as a truck or not, and I will dearly miss it. But I'm glad we got to have and be inspired by it while it lasted. It won't be forgotten.
I am glad Peter can rest peacefully now and we still have the content of his Prime today to look back on. I can guarantee it'll be cherished by millions for years long after him with how dearly his iteration of Prime, THE Optimus Prime, was held by fans and casuals alike. So, with that I will say-
Till all are One.

Havent been drawing too much and havent been too in that mood lately, so I thought I'd give yall one of the other parts I was doing for fun on this. This time, its when Shadow goes super in the movie, feat some custom sounds I put in (since the musicless version of the scene itself didn't have any) too! Hope I did decently with my timing on those :33

Not much to say, but I hope you enjoy your part 2 to the first one lol. I have like two more ready, and one I'm still relentlessly editing to try and get it 'right' for y'all to see (the music is kind of but also not cooperating lol), if you ever want more of these. I'm sure I'll do more if I cant draw and am just bored so if you want a scene for me to find and do let me know! :33

'Sonic 3', but I put 'House of the Dragon''s soundtrack over it and edited it SLIGHTLY for yall to enjoy this concept that has been rotting in my brain for a while.

This is only A scene I did, so if yall like this and want to see the others I'll put them up too, and maybe do a few more if I have it in me. We'll have to see though lol
Love this soundtrack, its GORGEOUS, and put with Sonic just makes these scenes feel even more epic, and if novody else was going to slap these two together than I guess I WILL. Sorry if the editing isnt good, I had to go to a few different vids and get some moments the first one didnt have included, and I'm not an editing master so I just could do the bare minimum here and put the scenes together to make it watchable lol. Hope yall enjoy anyhow!

I forgot how fun I find this stuff to do after the Test Drive mixes a while ago, its good to revisit it again!

(also please let me know if this counts as a tribute of sorts, I have no idea if it does or not but I'm curious LOL)

Sooo me and @canis.vs made a Naruto x Sonic AU bc our interests somehow got melded together in the midst of a conversation and it just imploded sooo- yeah now it exists lololol. It's still premature right now since we're still brainstorming and all, but that'll definitely end up changing as time goes on thanks to Vesper mostly being the Naruto guidebook to my Sonic lore-knowledge, so you'll definitely see more posts of this in the future.
For world references, we put the both of these worlds in a blender and are rolling with it for now while coming up with the majesty that is plot so stuff will be a bit random for now, but yeah! Hope y'all like these! (Fun fact: The third one was made for Roger since he voices a Naruto character, so we just put that character next to Naruto himself and squished them together for Sonic here! Since they are different, that'll be fun to flesh out in the future lmao)

Just a photo of a mare and her cowboy :3

I need to practice horses more, but when I get decent enough prepare yourselves for a lot of horsie art because YES they use horses in my AU. I've been meaning to learn to draw them for a while anyways and it's a good excuse to practice them, so they will be actual cowboys here and will act like them, they won't have their speed or powers, and also means they will wield guns, bows, etc. Also can I just mention how helpful screenshots of Spirit are for learning to get the shapes down? If you're having trouble drawing them go look at those, they help a LOT with the face trust me!

This was a fun grayscale experiment! The art style just came to me during a night of doodles so I just rolled with it for this piece and it turned out really good, so I'll probably end up using it for other pieces I make in the future. At least until I find the perfect fit for it, which means it'll only get used there from then on :33
Heaven's style definantly was an influence for the snoot, if you couldn't tell already lol. And ofc some messy doodles on the side because, as always, I can't do lineart correctly and am too lazy to try and make it look right on top of minimal shading lol.

It's been a while since I posted something of these two and I recently wanted to do something for it while trying to put all the main story and stuff together, so I drew and touched this up a while ago. The rendering on the armor and the scales was SO much fun I need to do that more- oh and defining the scales and horn details too!
Since I can't draw today for some reason I figured I should finally post it for y'all so I don't leave you hanging, but with some writing with it since I don't have any doodles ready atm lol.

Idk have something silly I made today based on a friend's AU meeting mine lol. I know it's a bit messy, but tbh it adds to the charm in my eyes, so y'all get it as is. Enjoy!
Poor Lance desperately needs a hug in this version of SatBK, even AFTER meeting and befriending Sonic, so it's a good thing his dad from another universe popped into their world for a second. That way, he can be as overprotective of a dad as he WANTS (No this obv isn't canon to my actual au but the idea of Dhovaxes being doting on a draconic Lancelot a little under his own size is funny to me)

[And to clarify in case some of y'all are confused, Dhovaxes isn't mad at Lance specifically, he's mad at how he was left to fend for himself without affection or parents and the unnecessary issues that came with it. It took him a second to finish processing what Lance had said, but that's what his anger is aimed at. Hope that clears it up]

This guy got a glowup from his previous model-look a little while ago, so I posed him for fun and figured I should post!

This may not be news to any fellow httyd fans out there that I too despise 'Nine Realms' with every fiber of my being LOL. Not ONLY for the fact that its a nothing burger that even *I* could write better and give a far better point to, but also for the 'designs' of the dragons. But at least this little redesign of Thunder looks cute and, yk, actually like a dragon from the series rather than a scaly cow lol.

A quick reminder to all the artists out there that are stuck, beginning their journeys, or feeling like they want to give up due to not getting their style "right":
You CAN and WILL improve with time, all art journeys are different so don't feel bad or like you're doing something wrong if someone picks it up faster than you. You'll get there with enough patience, practice, and will to improve your art and/or style!

Never stop drawing and trying to improve, time will do the rest.
No one can make a style fully "you" unless YOU make it, and no one or thing can replace what you put into it. You got this!

WoF X Sonic AU faux book cover, "The Gold Moons", featuring Sonic the Skywing/Seawing hybrid! Yes, I have a new AU on this (bc of course I do my brain can't stop doing that help), but I figured I should just give y'all a sneak peek for the moment while I work on story stuff for my other AUs. For now it's on the back burner and will probably be for a while, you'll see drawings and sketches of it every now and then to help spice things up and just for me having fun drawing them tho lol so there WILL be more every now and then.

There may be more faux covers of them too later on, it was actually really fun to make one! :33
He was super fun to draw too, but I kept making the canvas bigger to try and fit the 'cover' in so my tablet was VERY stressed while I colored and everything LOL. I crashed a couple times but thankfully it never set me too far back with progress, and surprisingly there wasn't an egregious amount of lag so yippie

Overall, loved doing this! Hope y'all like the art and concept :33
