The book blocks are bound, and Part Three of my fall collection is one step closer to the finished line! 🍂

These large journals are now moving into the cover phase. I’m cutting the boards and smoothing their edges, giving each one the care that goes into a journal made to accompany you through many pages of art.

Inside, you’ll find Arches, Saunders Waterford, or Fabriano Artistico, with cold press, hot press, and mixed textures among the options. More room to explore, develop an idea, or let a painting spread across the pages.

There’s still plenty coming together here in my little studio.
I’ll share the release date once everything is ready, but first… the covers!

👇👇👇BIRDTOBER 2026

Every October, I pick up my drawing tools and my hand feels a little rusty. But day by day, drawing becomes familiar again, like slipping into a favorite old sweater.

This is my fifth Birdtober, a challenge I’ve dedicated to my dad from the very beginning.

A week in, I’m loving this rainbow of birds and learning something new about each one. Thank you, Andrea Holmes, for bringing us together in such an inspiring community!

One of my favorite things about a custom commission is seeing an artist make a journal truly their own. ❤️

For this commission, my client shared the size and colors she loves and chose three of her favorite Papers :

Fabriano Artistico in two textures: Cold Press and Hot Press and Strathmore Mixed Media paper, for her markers art

I love commissions like this, where every detail reflects the person who will use the journal.

The finishing touch was a word she chose for the cover: “PLAY”. What a lovely invitation to begin creating!”
