Couple of #ffo projects on the work table this morning — Farmer & Better Brown by Notforgotten Farm will be tee tiny pillows by the time the dinner bell rings!

If you haven’t tried Lori’s littles: I encourage you to do it. They’re so fun and totally adorable!

Also: everyone who told me Needle & Flax linen was the GOAT? Didn’t lie. This was my first time using it, and it was so good.

Two and a half years of living here, weeks of paper templates taped to the wall, and the gallery wall is finally (mostly) finished. ✨

It’s a mix of pieces I love, but the entire wall centers around one specific thing: that quilt block. I pieced it using the leftover fabric from a quilt my mom made for me years ago.

She’s the one who got me into quilting. She’s the reason I love handwork. Honestly, she’s the reason any of this creative spark is happening. Having a piece of her work woven into mine, right in the center of my creative space, means everything.

I still have dreams of adding a quilted ironing board cover to the mix one day, but for now? Sitting back and looking at this feels incredibly good.

I did it. I converted every single skein from bobbins to floss drops… and yes, I even ironed the floss because the kinks were not invited to this new chapter 😌

But LOOK AT HER.

Everything hanging, smooth, easy to grab, and honestly? Kind of feels like I unlocked a new level of stitching joy.

Did I go overboard? Maybe.
Was it worth it? Absolutely.

Now pulling threads for a project feels effortless—and I’m never going back.

I bought this little antique coffee grinder simply because I love old things.

The second I brought it home, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it: tiny cross stitch pillows tucked into the drawer that I could change out every month.

So I started stitching the 12 Monthly Minis.

Fully finishing the pillows themselves was honestly a bit of a nightmare (100% user error — hear all about it in my Flosstube Episode 30), but seeing the March one nestled in the drawer with a few vintage spools makes it completely worth it.

It’s exactly what I imagined… maybe even cuter.

Christmas Village by Prairie Schooler is well underway! I started it with my friend, @home.on.the.ridge, on New Year’s Eve and have been slowly growing the forest. Now that the hoop is full, it’s time to move on to a few of the buildings. I’m so excited to build the village!

I’ll be kicking off my NYE 12×12 tomorrow with a classic!! ✨
