In 1946 two weeks before her birthday, a 26-year-old woman escaped a gruesome death after waking up on train tracks.
The woman claims to have been getting ready for bed, after that her memory starts up again, waking in the cold early morning on steal tracks. To this day nobody really knows what happened.

Thank you so much to @themooreartthebetter for helping bring this story to life with me!! First of a couple Halloween shoots 😈 taken in Stoney Creek, Ontario by @shae.lin.pearson

Can we all just appreciate Shae for a second?! 🧜‍♀️✨

Because sitting on a shoreline in a giant mermaid tail while it's cold, raining, and the waves are crashing beside you is not for the weak. 😂

The weather was definitely testing us, but Shae absolutely committed to the vision and these images turned out SO worth it. Honestly, some of the crispiest fantasy photos I've ever taken.

Huge shoutout to my friend Kim and Shae's boyfriend Curtis for coming along too! Having people willing to help carry props, watch for rogue waves, and hype us up while we create weird little fantasy worlds is always appreciated. 🖤

This is exactly why I love fantasy sessions. For a couple hours, we get to leave reality behind and create something that feels straight out of a storybook.

If you've ever wanted to be a mermaid, fairy, woodland creature, villain, princess, or literally anything your imagination can come up with, I am SO here for it.

Mermaid sessions are officially available. 🌊✨

My week sucked...

So naturally, I went to the beach and turned someone into a mermaid. 🧜🏻‍♀️😂

Honestly, I think we all need to stop taking life so seriously every once in a while. Put on a tail, crawl around in the sand, make strangers question what they’re witnessing, and suddenly the week doesn’t seem so bad anymore.

Is it going to solve all your problems? Probably not.
Will you have the coolest photos and a story that starts with, “So... I became a mermaid last weekend...”?

Absolutely.

That’s honestly my favourite part about these fantasy sessions. For an hour or two, you get to forget about work, bills, emails, and whatever else is stressing you out and just exist in a completely different world.

So if your week sucked too... maybe you don’t need therapy.
Maybe you just need a mermaid tail. 🌊✨

Mermaids are real 🩵💕💚🤍💙🐬🌊🐚

📸 set by: @piperjordanphotography 🩵

Just my take on what an “anatomically correct” mermaid (whatever the hell that means lol) would look like- Hair, gems, make up, “invisible shells bra”, and accessories were all made and done by me 😝 (the bra took me three fkn days lol) sorry my OCD mixed with my creativity, and I didn’t think it made sense that mermaids would know what a “bra” was/living underwater, stuff technically would start growing on you lol 🥰

**A special shout out to @mirrorimagingkg for being there with help with the crazy tail lol, support, WARMTH LOL and I can’t wait to see your version of the pictures 👀📸😝😍

Pearls? Yes, please. ✅
Shiny shells? 🐚 Into the treasure chest.🪎
A little sea glass ✨ that catches the sunlight just right?

Who can resist a little beach treasure?

💖 Natural beauty (with a little extra shimmer and sparkle provided by the beautiful Shae) is always in demand.
