I might change this painting but its 3 ft by 4 ft and its oil. I looked at a photograph my sister @kerry_mcclaughry took of Kerry Ireland while she lived there. 🍀 by @shaelyn_art_

This Garden of Hope Food Justice glass mosaic install was a success! The Glass roots team and I had a really good time installing this alongside the very curious resident chickens who were especially interested in any substance coming out of a spackle bucket. #glassart #mosaicart #newarkarts by @shaelyn_art_

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.” 🌟

Making public art with mosaic tiles is what we do, but centering social justice and community voices is why we do it.

These four planters from our Martin Luther King Jr. series are a direct product of community engagement and collective power, created in beautiful collaboration with The @glassrootsinc Public Art Team & @nwk_sustainable 🙌

The final works will be relocated to their forever home soon. Stay tuned to see where they land! ❤️‍🔥
