It’s been a while since I’ve posted my thoughts but this horrible disease has worsened so every thing has become so much harder for me.

I used to think that only the ocean could humble me and you know what it did many times but nothing compared to MND. It really is a relentless disease that strips you down piece by piece.

One thing is for sure you wanna be mentally strong before MND hits you because it tears you apart on every level.

I remember when I got my diagnosis I walked across the Main Street of Cooly absolutely shattered knowing that my life was about to be torn into a million different little pieces. The reality is that you spend all your days getting dictated to by someone else and that is the pinnacle of pure frustration.

I ask myself everyday why I keep going and for sure it’s not for me anymore because when you get to this point in your MND journey you welcome death and you even pray for it but death is running away from you.

They say that your life flashes before your eyes when you die but the reality with MND is that you die slower than instantly so you spend alot of time on your back staring at the ceiling pondering how you could have done better and helped more people. taken in Iluka by @shaggamang
