I interviewed Cam aka ‘The Benz Cowboy’ with his S123 Turbo Diesel that he daily drives! He is halfway through his build turning it into the ultimate Baja camper wagon.

Nothing I’ve ever interviewed has had this much character. I mean genuine snakeskin dash that he got from a roadkill snake 🐍 Cam’s Benz has 228,000 km and still going strong, so much so he drove it from Arizona to Monterey, California for car week! I can’t wait to see how it turns out when finished. Keep on rocking Cam! by @shagwag124

I sure do miss driving the 500SEC AMG… The high compression Mercedes V8 was an absolute blast until, I blew the head gasket. I’ve talked with many of you on here and there were mixed comments. I could rebuild the M117, but I have a way I do things around here and that is to set high goals. Having something to work towards is very important. So, why not make this an official goal… - 5.4 M113 V8 AMG/Standard Swap.

These cars are also continuing to gain traction and the value for original examples might keep progressing. At least I think? Lol. who knows… Anyways, sounds like a smart idea to do this swap. When will we do it? I plan to put myself in position to start early next year. Gotta keep stacking paper :D

Here’s some photos from Last Sept!! Just found them and wanted to share as well as my goal for this car. It needs to get back on the road asap!

After I got pulled over on the beach, I found a guy with my same wheels 😂 - His actually are for his car - American Racing Outlaw II’s, Mine… Not so much 🤭 - We bonded over our wheels and love for classic rock by @shagwag124

I am so grateful for the freedom in this country. I have heard modifying a car like this in other countries is jail time. 🇺🇸🤪🤭
