In the hush of a cold Kanha morning, the sal forests stand tall and still, wrapped in mist and silence. Every leaf seems to listen, every shadow holds its breath, as Sunaina the tigress moves with quiet authority through her ancient jungle kingdom, patrolling the trails that belong only to her.

Scientific Name: Panthera tigris tigris

Conservation Status: Endangered (approx. 4,500–5,500 individuals left in the wild)

Interesting fact: Bengal Tigers are solitary and highly territorial, using scent marks and scratch signs on trees to communicate their presence and maintain control over vast forest ranges.

Tiger Tiger Burning Bright!

Encountering a Tiger in the wild at night, is a magical experience.

A sub-adult cub (1 of 3) from parents Dhamokar and Bufferwali. We saw three of them on a kill on a night Safari in the buffer zone of Bandhavgarh National Park.

There's always one who needs to make a dramatic entrance.

Rainbow Lorikeets. Beautiful, noisy, territorial and never short on attitude.

And that flash of colour when the wings open up! 🌈

Nature doesn't need a choreographer.

Every feather in its place. Every movement effortless. A fleeting moment of symmetry, grace and absolute freedom.

A glimpse of Eden magic. Mind blown. 🤯🐋

1,125 km on the road. 12,000 photos to sort through. And absolutely worth every kilometre.

What an incredible privilege to witness these magnificent creatures up close, breaching, tail slapping and putting on a show I won't forget anytime soon.

Eden, you delivered. 🐋🌊

She is silence before the storm.
She is patience sharpened into purpose.
She is power that never needs to announce itself.
She is beauty carved by survival.
She is grace wrapped in muscle.
She is instinct, courage, and unwavering resolve.
She doesn't chase respect, she commands it with a single glance.
The savannah doesn't crown queens;
She becomes one! 🦁👑

Show Off!

A moment meant to be seen as a Indian Peafowl (Peacock) fans out its full display, turning courtship into pure spectacle and confidence.

Scientific Name: Pavo cristatus

Conservation Status: Least Concern (estimated several million individuals in the wild)

Interesting fact: The peacock’s shimmering train isn’t made of tail feathers but elongated upper tail coverts, and the number and symmetry of the “eye spots” play a key role in attracting females.

Shy Albatross- built for the open ocean.

These are big, heavy seabirds, with a wingspan of roughly 2.1–2.6 metres (8.5 feet), yet they can glide for long distances with barely a wingbeat. Most of their life is spent at sea, only returning to land mainly to breed.

Watching one cruise past the boat off Eden, effortlessly riding the wind, really puts their scale into perspective. Massive bird. Minimal effort. Pure ocean engineering.

A flash of scarlet in the gums. ❤️💚
The unmistakable male Australian King Parrot, one of those birds that somehow manages to look impossibly vivid even against the muted greens of the Australian bush.
Sometimes nature doesn’t bother with subtlety.
