Poland Files 🇵🇱 🗂️
✨ Still processing how incredible this trip was. Poland was a beautiful beginning. First experience at one of the world‘s largest dance festivals hosting 10,000 people, Bachaturo.. Celebrating my 33rd birthday overseas with some of my favorite people. Exploring Krakow, visiting the salt mine, Wieliczka, and learning the historical value behind salt and the wealth of Poland. Lastly, being welcomed with extremely open arms by the family of @sylviawiecz. Spending time with your family was truly so special for our entire group. taken in Poland by @shaiiii______

Hi 👋🏼
I’ve been shy about sharing dance content lately, but decided to share some footage of what my free time looks like. These videos are just improv through different songs. You’ll see different tempos, a lot of repetition, performative energy, focused energy, mistakes, dancing in socks, dancing in socks, dancing barefoot, dancing in sneakers.

My objectives lately are staying connected to my center, proper timing, body control, and becoming more comfortable with footwork.

I’ve been very absent from the social scene lately. Six months ago my life took some unexpected turns and I had to shift my energy away from social dance scene. This was for financial reasons, social battery reasons (I’m an introvert), needing to prioritize my health and sleep hygiene… but I certainly have not stopped dancing.

Lately, I’ve been focusing my energy on training my body to be a better dancer, and not just learning the moves of a style. Luckily, as a corrective exercise coach/personal trainer, I’ve had the skillset to fix the joints that were corrupting my dancing. There’s still a lot of work to be done, but I’m feeling incredibly proud of how far I’ve come in less than three years.

With all of that, I’m slowly coming out of my hole and incredibly excited to start seeing all of my fellow dancers out on the floor again.

Love,
Shai

P.S. @vuoriclothing you’re really missing out on an opportunity to scale business by not marketing to dancers. Just saying, I’d be happy to help 🤣 #v1influencer #bachatera #dancer #vuori #bachatasensual taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @shaiiii______
