My new feature in @voyagelamag is officially live!! 🩷🎸 Had the best time shooting with @pdmcwilliams with @vicsueiro at @cinemakerstudios and so excited to finally share these shots! 📸

I got to chat about my journey and double life as a filmmaker and neuroscientist, about my love for psychological horror, the importance of telling female-centred stories, and some of the exciting film projects I’ve been working on lately including upcoming @girlfriendfilm and @sugarrushmovie alongside my earlier projects @gaslightmovie and @habitsmovie

Feeling very lucky to be doing what I love and getting to share a little more about the journey so far. Thank you @voyagelamag for the lovely feature! 🩷

Introducing our new film GIRLFRIEND MATERIAL 💜

A new psychological drama exploring desire, fantasy, intimacy, and the unsettling distance between who we are and who other people want us to be.

Currently in pre-production, GIRLFRIEND MATERIAL written and directed by @arsalan.a.aziz @banana_files_ is bringing together an emerging cast (NOW CASTING!) and creative team for a provocative new short film about love in the age of digital intimacy.

Produced by Shaira Berg @shairaberg @shygirlproductions following her previous film’s recent recognition at the UK Film Awards and company’s festival presence at Cannes, the project is now gearing up for production.

Casting announcements, first looks & more coming soon.

Welcome to GIRLFRIEND MATERIAL. Poster design by @shairaberg

Stay tuned. 🐚
