Barcelona feels a little more like home every time 🩷

Grateful to @eric_carlovich, @sacermesoni.pilates and @bodymechanicspilates for everything I keep learning- about Pilates and about myself.

Always happiest with my Barcelona family!
Can’t believe we only have one module left. We definitely need a sequel😂

I used to think progress meant getting better all the time.

Being stronger. Looking better. Doing the exercise I couldn’t do before.

But movement has taught me something very different.

Some days you’re stronger. Some days you struggle with something that felt easy yesterday. You try, you get it wrong, you adjust, and you try again.

That’s not a break in the process. That is the process.

Your body will change. Your abilities will change. Life will change.

So keep growing, keep trying, keep wanting more- but don’t forget to enjoy what’s already here.

The small wins. The ordinary days. The body you have today. The person you are right now.

You don’t have to become the “perfect” version of yourself to love the life you’re already living. 🤍

If your intention is simply to push the carriage out and bring it back in, you’re focusing on the outcome- not the action.

The apparatus was designed to give us resistance, support and feedback so we can better understand the movement happening within our own bodies.

And resistance isn’t there just to make the movement harder.

We push into it.
We pull against it.
We use it to find more space, more length and more connection within the body.

The carriage opening and closing is simply what we see.

But what are you doing?

Are you reaching? Lifting? Lengthening? Connecting? Resisting? Organizing?

That is where the work is.

The goal isn’t to move the apparatus from point A to point B.

The apparatus gives you feedback on how you move yourself.

That shift of focus, from moving the equipment to using it to discover more movement within your own body- is one of the things I find so beautiful about Contrology.

They say women who can do pull-ups are top tier.

I say strength is something you build- not something you’re born with.

Through repetition, control and consistency, your body becomes capable of things you once thought were out of reach.

Top tier isn’t a type. It’s a journey. 💪

Today, one of my clients described Pilates in the most accurate way:
“It’s about finding more room within yourself.”

That’s what makes this method so special.
No matter what state you’re in, finding a little more room within yourself always feels so good. 🤍

The second module of the program has come to an end, and honestly, I have no words… so I’ll let the photos speak for themselves 🤍

So grateful to be part of this journey and to keep learning and deepening my understanding of the method alongside such an incredible group of people.

Thank you for this opportunity @eric_carlovich, @sacermesoni.pilates and @bodymechanicspilates ✨

I’m excited for everything that’s still to come ❤️ by @shaizoller

The mat is where I deal with things.

I show up, I do the work, I struggle a little, and I keep going.

And every time I come back to the mat, I feel a little more like myself again.

Return to life.

What’s your return to life?

The Wunda Chair teaches us a simple lesson: lift.

In Pilates, we are constantly finding ways to rise- through strength, control, and connection.

Life is the same. We don’t always choose what happens, but we can choose how we respond: we rise, we move forward, we come up.

So when life gets you down… get back on the Wunda. 🤍
