#throwback soph yr, may 19 to my first time jumping 40-7 after dropping consistent 36s and 37s. Worked on extending first phase 2 days before the meet “battle of the bridges”. Made it to the finals and jumped 39-9 to make states then 40 after, was a good day 👍🏾.

My body was in an unnatural state beacuse it was the first time experiencing a huge jump like this, I didn’t know what to do mid-air 🤣. And yes that landing hurt. by @shakerjmps_

First 2 clips, blocks to first hurdle focus on staying explosive off the blocks and snapping down trail.

May 16-

marathon sports elite invitational. Tj series went (39-7.80) (38-9.80) (38-3.50) not a bad consistent series after a 44.83 300h

100h was a 17.26 with a wide trail that came up near the last 3-4 hurdles. Good run tho. It wasn’t the best meet in terms of medals but was good in terms of performances, was an actual test to find out what practice lead up to for a big meet such as this. Consistent performances.

May 21
Tj series went (37-1.50) (39-6.25) (36-8.50) (39-1.50)
LJ series went (16-9) (16-10) (18-1) (18-6.50) a new SB so far!

5/29 Southwesterns. both jumps, both hurdles.

Meet#3 jan 2

!Vids not in order of attempts!

started off with LJ prelims and a new pr with a jump of (19-10.50) (F) (19-4.75)

Heading over to the 55h ran an 8.66 and eighth place in the prelims to make the finals and run a new pr of 8.42

Tj started off with (38-3.50) (40-4) (40-0.75) making the finals and jumping (39-9) (41-1) (41-4)

Was a good meet over all, 5th in tj, 6th in Lj, and 4th in hurdles. First time ever making a hurdle and long jump final so that was pretty amazing.

12 jumps and 2 hurdle races were not in my predictions. Was a very tough meet on my body, good one overall 👍🏾 by @shakerjmps_

Meet#2 Dec 20. No footage except a one tj attempt. 55h went good, strong block start yet slow trail and delayed arm action. Lj went great, started to feel how it is to penultimate step. Best was 17-10.25. Lastly tj, good first and last phase but form kept getting lost in between Second phase. Good meet.👍🏾 by @shakerjmps_
