I was Broken and HE made me Whole

Today August 16th 2026 I was baptized for the first time since I was a baby. My life has been an emotional rollercoaster fighting through the lose of friends and loved ones, depression, anxiety, constant overthinking and living for myself.

I had Jesus in my life these last 2 years but I never fully put my trust in god, I was always on my timing searching for the one thing I wanted LOVE.

I searched in the wrong places in people, websites, the whole shabang. None of the stuff was real love and only gave me temporary comfort. I could never sit comfortably cause I was still always searching for it. What I didn’t know is the person who could give me all the love in the world was always there just waiting for me to give it a chance. This last month has been filled with so much growth and I’ve learned a lot about myself and the way I wanna walk and represent myself as a man. Jesus is REAL LOVE. When I fully gave it to him a week ago I was so drained but so fulfilled and filled with peace. It was so hard not living in my own timing like I used to but living in his timing was worth the wait. This was such an unreal experience and I haven’t stopped crying all day. I am beyond grateful for the people around me who support me and for the blessing the Lord has given me.

If your in a search for real love like I was. I personally the Jesus route ain’t to bad. Love Jesus give it all to him and trust in what he has planned for you and receive the blessings and love he gives you. by @shakinjak

Gilbert was like a second home to me and I really truly thank everyone who was apart of my journey friends, teachers, techs, and random npc’s in the hallway. There were highs, lows, very lows, etc. thank you I will miss everyone who is moving on in life, I will most likely never see a lot of my classmates again in life but the lord has set us off to do amazing things.
