Bombay Dump 2. 🖤

Some cities you visit. Some cities become a part of who you are.

Bombay will always be my dream city to settle in—no matter how many problems it throws my way, I’d still choose it over anywhere else (of course, Calcutta gets a lifetime exemption ❤️).

A part of my childhood lives here. A part of my dreams was born here. The person I became, the dreams I learned to dream, the courage to chase them—all of it began somewhere in these streets. This is where the inception of me happened.

And this time, I got to revisit those old memories with new people by my side. Took my partner back to my complex, my school, my clubhouse, and even the place where I first learned Kathak. Watching him see the places that shaped me felt incredibly special.

So here’s to revisiting old chapters with new company, making new memories in familiar places, and falling in love with Bombay all over again.

You taught me how to dream big—and also gave me the courage to watch those dreams break, rebuild, and become something even better.

Cocktail Night — Part 2 🥂✨🪩

High spirits, endless dancing, favourite Bollywood numbers, happy faces, and a whole lot of love! 🖤✨ A night filled with laughter, people letting loose, dancing their hearts out, and making memories that will stay with us forever.

The entire idea behind our wedding was simple: for everyone to feel comfortable, be themselves, have fun, and enjoy every moment to the fullest. And so did we! ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who became a part of this long, beautiful wedding saga and showed up to celebrate with us. Your presence, energy, and love made the celebrations all the more special.

From the black-and-gold glittery decor to the tiniest details, everything came together exactly as I had imagined on my vision board. A little Pinterest dream turned into a night full of real, beautiful moments. ✨

With this, I’m wrapping up my first series of cocktail night moments, but there’s so much more to come. The next few wedding series will capture exactly what this celebration was all about: love, laughter, togetherness, and everyone having the time of their lives. 🥂🪩🖤 by @shal__dg

A throwback to 29th November — our little pre-wedding soirée, where the cocktails flowed, the glitter sparkled, and the celebrations were just getting started. 🥂✨🖤

A black & gold affair, sprinkled with shimmer, set up on our very own terrace, just the way we wanted it — intimate, personal, and surrounded by our favourite people.

From our fancy little bar counter and signature drinks to @djrdrajatofficial spinning our favourite Bollywood numbers, Chinese food, endless dancing, and a whole lot of love, every little detail felt like us. 🖤✨

We had heartfelt moments, with everyone sharing their favourite things about us, little notes for the bride and groom tucked into a memory box, and a few unexpected surprises along the way. Add to that a burning cake with a secret message, a champagne toast in silver-plated glasses, and memories that will forever have a special place in our hearts. 🥂

A special shoutout to @rtd_event_manager for bringing our vision to life with the decor, and @art.moulika for being the same creative hands behind our wedding welcome board. Every corner was dressed to perfection!

A night of glitter, golden memories, questionable dance moves, heartfelt words, and one beautiful beginning. ✨

Almost a year later, reliving it all feels just as special. And this is only the beginning of our wedding diaries.

365 days of us — of achieving, celebrating, growing, laughing, travelling, figuring life out, and finding joy in the little things. 🤍

A year filled with a hundred tiny milestones and a few big ones, countless ordinary days that became special simply because we had each other, and memories we’ll carry far beyond this first year.

From the little wins to the big celebrations, from spontaneous plans to quiet moments at home — this year has been a beautiful reminder that the best part of every milestone is having your person beside you.

365 days of being husband and wife, and somehow, it still feels like we’re just getting started. 🥂✨

And exactly a year ago, we watched a beautiful transition of a girl to a woman, all heart eyes for a man ready to sweep her off her feet. The first wicket to fall, the first wedding to start a train of Miss to Mrs. And definitely one that got us in a head twirl. What a week of celebration it was, it had big smiles, bigger tears (of joy) and marked a happy moment for all of us. So happy to have been witnessing nearly a decade of warmth and love that you both have been emanating for each other @shal__dg and @ishspecter. It only gets better from here.
