No one tells you that your heart doesn’t split in two... it somehow doubles. ❤️

I used to wonder how I could ever love another child the way I love Emerald.

Then Ezra arrived.

Watching her step into the role of big sister has been one of the sweetest gifts I’ve ever received. The little kisses, the gentle touches, the way she proudly says, “That’s my baby brother”... it’s a love story I never knew I needed to witness.

Motherhood has stretched me in ways I never imagined. There are days I’m exhausted, overwhelmed, and wondering if I’m doing enough. But then I look at these two, and I’m reminded that the little moments are becoming the memories they’ll carry forever.

They may never remember this newborn photoshoot...

But I’ll remember how tiny he was.
How proud she looked.
How full my heart felt.

If I could freeze time, it would be moments like these.

My greatest accomplishment will never be a title, a paycheck, or anything I own.

It will always be raising these two beautiful souls with love.

Forever grateful that I get to be their mommy. 🤍

Our little SONshine has arrived ☀️💛

30 hours of labor
1.5 hours of pushing baby boy into the 🌎
1 successful VBAC 😭

Although today was Ezra’s due date, our baby boy made his grand entrance on Friday, May 22nd 🥰

Baby Ezra has been the sweetest, calmest little blessing, and I truly cannot stop staring at him. 💫

I am so shocked and proud of myself for successfully having a VBAC. Whew… that was NOT easy, but I did it. One of the hardest yet most rewarding experiences, and I’m so thankful for the strength, support, and love that carried me through it. 🤍🫶🏽

And I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Novant Health Huntersville Labor & Delivery. From beginning to end, the experience was honestly 10/10. The care team took such amazing care of me, my baby, and my family. Every nurse, doctor, and staff member made this experience feel safe, supported, and full of love.

A special thank you as well to Miss Shannon from Bella Baby Photography, for capturing such sweet moments of our family in the hospital before we headed home. These memories mean so much to us already, and I’m so grateful to have them forever. 🤍
