**Anywho, if you look closely you might notice the Philadelphia’s street grid is embedded within the figures to reflect how the city shapes identity from within. The grid speaks to structure and navigation, influencing how the body adapts, persists, and moves through space. We are very excited to announce our selected artists for the fourth iteration of @afromationavenue !

Welcome to the family @shaliina !

Shalina Mitchell is a multidisciplinary artist who explores identity, inclusion, and the shared human experience through portraiture, public art, and mixed media. Grounded in studies of the human form and philosophy, she investigates the dynamic relationship between people and their environments. Through her art, Mitchell aims to inspire empathy, provoke thought, and create spaces for meaningful conversation about our collective humanity.

We are so grateful to @muralarts for sponsoring our fourth community street art project. Can’t wait to collaborate with the Kensington community!
