My photo got featured by @vice as the cover/thumbnail for their recent piece on ClownCult.

Congrats to @chuckie.sleaze and @clowncultclowncult - the real stars of the show! You can find the mini-doc through their bio or directly on Vice’s YouTube channel under Gatherings.

ClownCult was one of the first events I started bringing my camera to after moving to the city. When people asked why I wanted to move to nyc, my short answer was to so connect with camera and circus. ClownCult has been a canvas for the both that and community. Excited to be part and share this small milestone.

I knew the photo was going to be used, but it was still wild to see it organically pop up on my newsfeed.

I guess what they say is true, you do grow up to be what you fear most.

If you can’t handle me during my Brat Boy Summer, then you don’t deserve me during my Hoochie Daddy Season.🔥 Before I start posting photos from CAMP. I wanted to share this special moment.  Getting to put down the camera after a weekend behind it and burn some fire poi in the Fairy Forest to an @illich_mujica sunrise set - with all the homies cheering me on. Take me back <3  It was a tough year at CAMP. 100+ degrees and storms knocking out power on a 4th of July Weekend.  Wet Hot American Summer…uphill both-ways.

Big shoutout to the CAMP crew for keeping the magic alive through it all. ❤️ Just when things were at there darkest, Tech/Power dept said let their be tunes. 🙌

The weather looked like it was going to rainout the last of our parade. Somehow the storm just missed us. everything came together in the end and we got to have our moment.
