Transform the way you work with humans. The Human Beyond labels.
For Therapists & Organisations.

We live in a world that loves catagories. Little and big boxes which help us organise complexity. But we humans are not catagories. Do you also feel a human can hold seeingly opposing truths at the same time? Strong and struggling,
Joyful and grieving,
We are all products of our circumstances and still much more than our circumstances. When we begin to make the description more important than the person, we become almost incapable of seeing the person.
When people ask me how I am able to help people recover from long time burn out and depression, this surely has always been one of biggest strengths. "Seeing beyond what labels, roles can see". Because the most important part of a person is the part no labels can explain.

✨3 Slots open for 2027 1:1 - private sessions. Send me a message to see if we are a good match to deep dive into your heart & soul, body & mind, ancestral healing & dreams.

Welcome 🌳✨to my little corner. For years, I have been asking the same questions in different ways: What does it mean to be a human - being? What happens when we dare to see the whole human? I explore the human - being through shamanism, philosophy, art, ancestral work, poetry, herbalism and thousands of human stories entrusted to me. I am glad our paths found eachother. Let's journey together 🌳✨

Our days are woven from simple things; bird songs, wisdom of our ancestors and the forest, stories inbetween many worlds, smell of spices, morning light through the leaves, music drifting through our little forest, the soft rhythm of moss, the scent of something warm in the oven or freshly plucked forest fruits, herbs drying slowly in the corner.

We keep our world small on purpose. ❤️🐦‍⬛🌻
Not because there is less to give, but because there is more to feel this way. We keep our family life away from social media as much as possible, as it feels like the right thing to do for us and for our son.

There is a kind of magic in moving slowly with the rhythm within oir heart,
In raising our teenage son with presence instead of haste and the eyes and ears of too many, In caring for our sweet cat boy and deeply listening to his ancient wisdom purrr purrr.

There is beauty and sacredness In sitting with kind and wise humans who find their way to us for coaching, retreats and its an honour to hold space for all the stories & dreams they carry.

Our work, Our life is not separate.
It is all a part of one story. ❤️🌳✨✨

We don’t share everything. ✨✨
Some things are meant to stay sacred, held softly between us and the forest that shelters us.

But this online space here this is like a little diary left open on an old wooden table in my grandmother's humble, rustic kitchen.

A place where we gather and share tiny fragments: inspiration, glimpses, small updates, pieces of beauty we find along the way.

We tend to our little forest, we create herbal recipes with our hands, with heart, with intention.

And through it all, there is a quiet thread of gratitude.

For this life.
For this path.
For finding each other within it.

And for you,
for walking beside us, even from afar,
for reading my thoughts, listening my voice,
for being here.It means more than words can hold.

Love & Gratitude,

Did your childhood shape the way you see yourself today? Healing begins when we learn to question what we were taught to accept. I invite you my dear sisters to explore these inherited patterns, reclaim your self trust and build a life beyond limiting expectations.

Which belief about yourself are you ready to question?

Sharing this so my dad who reads my posts will read what I think of him 🙏🏽❤️💜🍂He is my best friend with whom I debate a lot about religion, politics and spirituality.

I am beyond grateful that my father never spoke to me with authority, never humiliated me. He never tried to guide me or change me. He never questioned my choices in life. The best thing about him was he himself was an outcaste, a spiritual hippy in the eyes of the society, so maybe because of this, I gave myself the permission to be who and what I felt I am deep in my heart. Dear Appa, thank you for everything! Thank you for showing me how to give a F about the society. He was not a perfect father, he was absent and traumatised in many ways still there was something extraordinary that he taught me about life without preaching me. But the society I grew up in was cruel and punishing. I am still unlearning a lot of my own beliefs and I am grateful i have this little corner to share it.
(Appa means dad in my mother language Malayalam. ☺️🍂✨🌻)

Sharing a cup of herbal tea with all of you, ✨💜🍂

Some daughters inherit their mother's jewellery. Some inherit their mother's recipes, their laughter and the way they love. And some of us inherit the memory of how our mother's were treated.

We watched them give chances to people who repeatedly hurt them. We watched their kindness get mistaken for weakness, their silence for permission, their forgiveness for an invitation to hurt them again. We watched family members manipulate our mother, call her over reacting, angry, crazy. Often crossing her boundaries and then act offended when a boundary finally appeared. And somewhere along the way, something inside of us began to burn. If you feel this burn, Fan the flames sister ✨
🔥This burn pushed me into creating a different relationship with my ancestors. Sometimes Ancestral healing looks like a woman who refuses to carry the guilt of other people's cruelty. It looks like a woman who will not surrender to traditions that require her to tame her wild fire and bow down to a religion that doesn't treat her as an equal to others.

My rage is not the absence of love. It is the part of me that refuses to let love be used as a weapon aganist us. My rage has always been one of my greatest teachers. I will honour the women who came before me. I will carry their resilience, their courage and everything beautiful they passed on. But the pain? the betrayal disguised as family? It stopped travelling through me. Their journey ends here with me.

To every woman who is learning that she can love her family without allowing them to destroy her peace and health. I see you. ❤️

And I want to ask you something. What is the one thing you refuse to pass on to the next generation of women in your family? What ends with you? I would be honored if you would share. Maybe another daughter will be inspired to end her cycle today. #generationaltrauma #breakingthecycle #ancestralhealing by @shamanrakhee

What if your personality is not the complete story? We often deacribe people as strong, successful, independent, perfectionist, people pleasing and forever capable. But how often do we pause and consider what might lie beneatg these patterns?
Our personality, emotional patterns and ways of relating to others are shaped by temperament, life experiences, relationshipd, culture, ancestral patterns and the environments in which we learn to belong or even pretend to belong. What we call a personality trait may have a more complex history that we realise. I am not saying every behaviour comes from trauma. It means that understanding human behaviour requires committed curiosity that simply giving someone a label. As someone who works with people navigating burn out, ancestral pain and deeply ingrained emotional patterns, I have become increasingly interested in the questions we don't always ask. I have to thank all my clients especially the coaches, healers and therapists who have asked me for last decade to teach, share and talk more about this outside of my healing programs and retreats. This led me to developing " The Human Beyond". I believe this is where the portal to "magic" healing lies. I believe this can be the missing link to your sessions and programs. The goal is not to simply help a person function better. Let us learn to be more curious about the person - the human we are asking to function. ✨Save this for a moment of reflection or share it with someone who enjoys human behaviour and healing from a different perspective.

Our calender for this year has been full since this Summer, ✨🌳❤️We are excited to welcome all the retreat guests and forest wanderers coming to stay with us during Autumn & Winter season.

When we mean Book a stay with us, we don't mean you will be staying in our family home, You will be staying in the 🏡Retreat cottage, just behind our home. It's a complete home with its own entrance, which offers full safety and privacy for you.

Even after a full decade of weaving retreats, two decades of offering Healing programs and sessions, it's still exciting to hold private retreats. It's an honour to sit beside a human heart when they are healing from old wounds.

My work, my heart is evolving and I am expanding my concept of " The Human beyond" more and more every year, so I can work more with Therapists, coaches and organisations. Still I very much enjoy preparing for Reset Retreats. It's heartwarming to be able to nourish and care for kind hearted humans in our forest sanctuary calling upon ancestors, plants and herbs as allies 🦜💜🐈‍⬛🍂🍁

Somewhere between growing this forest garden, sitting by the fire beside ancestors, creating spaces for whimsy and rest, collecting beautiful treasures with stories to tell, it's humbling and at the same time magical to create a life that feels like our own. 🐈‍⬛🧡✨🍁🍂✨✨

If you want to book a stay for yourself or with your family ( We can host upto 7 adults) or a private Retreat for 2027, Send me a pm here, Happy to welcome you to our forest 🌳🌳sanctuary.

I am tagging my man Jorge here aswell, as we share the responsibilities of hosting via Airb&b & booking . com. Say hi to Jorge, you can see a glimpse of him in the mirror. ❤️

On another note- What do you think of this new trasure i want to add to my dinning - kitchen space? I have two of these vintage beauties, they can hold candles while I day dream? 😅🍂🍁 Sending you cosy October vibes! by @shamanrakhee

What if even great civilisations have a blind spot? Rome had so many philosophers, so why didn't wisdom save it?

Walking among the ancient goddesses & gods and the wonders of Rome, I was truly mesmerized by the beauty and art but I found myself thinking a little too much about the past, Why and how can such a civilisation collapse?
Have we mistaken power for greatness?
What will history say about us?
What will our time on Earth say about us?

A civilisation can conquer a lot of lands and still fail at being human. What do you think?

I consider the Netherlands as my Fatherland, this land taught me a lot about myself that India, my beloved Motherland couldn't teach me and may never could have taught me.

For a long time, maybe forever I thought I needed to prove that I am worthy of belonging.
. I had finished my masters at 22 and then life demanded that I start from ground zero. For many years I had a homeless, nomadic life in India as a social worker and an artist. And when I moved to the NL, this feeling grew, this need to prove that I made it ok.

So when a dear client and a friend told me my whole subconscious mind healing work will make a perfect Phd subject, I got excited, I remembered my old dreams of wanting to continue to study further but financially I couldnt afford it when I was a travelling artist. But that problem was not there anymore. I could study if I wanted to.
Then this professor said something to me that I couldn't stop thinking about. At first I thought it could be discrimination or even racism but even today I am grateful he said this to me. This is a little piece of my journey that I have never shared before. 🍂🐈‍⬛✨🍁 by @shamanrakhee

Can a woman like me call myself a Philosopher?

I studied, got a research master's degree in Philosophy almost two decades ago. But for a very long time, I wasn't sure if I was allowed to call myself a Philosopher. Maybe because I felt a resistance, there is a sense of discomfort that can appear when a woman like me from oppressed community places the word " Philosopher" beside my name.

There was something unsettling in those times, for some people about a woman claiming intellectual authority for herself, then later living in Europe as an immigrant woman made me aware of racism and has made me see how certain hierarchies work and like a lot of women back in the time, I was too shy, timid and din't want to assert myself in spaces and with people who demanded me to shrink into a tiny box. See, how much insecurity I was holding in my heart when I was young.

And another HUGE reason was I imagined 🙃this means people will expect me to teach and preach about these male philosophers who were sexist and some even appropriated a lot of Indigenous practices and methods.

So for years I rarely spoke of my degree, quietly continued my work as a Shaman and Spiritual mentor and still ☺️😅philosophised in all my sessions but as I am expanding into " The Human Beyond", It felt good to add this to my name.

So here's to all the young women who are making themselves small for some weirdos in your family or extended family 😝can feel slightly better when they meet you. Please do yourself a favour; don't carry other people's burdens and insecurities. Love you all my little sisters, Go live your life to the fullest 😘

Much love,

I feel the ducks know something we forgot.

They have water, a place to belong.
A cosy little space. A friend near by. And this moment. Maybe that is enough. We have become so used to reaching for the next big thing that we sometimes forget to notice what is already here. A good conversation, A warm meal, Someone to call a friend. The sound of water, birds and the wind, where the body finally can feel safe enough to soften.

Maybe a rich life isn't always about having more. Sometimes it's about being able to recognise when it's enough. What do you think?

Sending a cup of tea from my little forest garden,
Ra

When a society learns that "some" women's bodies can be violated without consequences, it teaches every man something about power.

For the last 3000 years, the women at the margins have carried the violence first. Violence doesn't respect the boundaries society creates around " acceptable " women. Even today there is a selective outrage in India when it comes to human rights. What is tolerated aganist one group eventually teaches every man what a woman's body is worth. This is why I will keep on saying. This Ra -- epidemic is not new. It feels new for some women who thought they were above the violence. No wall or gate is high enough when predators decide to break it open. Let us unite as Women. As human beings to protect all our children, to protect all the women.
