Thank you, Jesus!!! we had an incredible Father’s Day service yesterday from the singing to the young people sharing about their fathers at times it got emotional and it was also full of joy! But the thing that touched my heart, the most was to see our children’s ministry singing this song, “My God” by @jovontapatton. Thank you so much for giving us permission to do this song we imitated everything from the clothing to the steps in the congregation was encouraged. I was so proud of the children.…. If you ask me, his youth choir should sing this song at the Stella Awards! @thestellars this song will become a gospel anthem for both young and old…. I want to say thank you to. @shamarabutler for your vocal assistance with the kids for the song and your encouragement, to Mark Ellis @ykmark_jr from my favorite youth choir @ablazeyouthchoir . Thank you to my church @nycchurch.harlem, the children’s ministry and to Jabari Brown for helping with the lead vocals and the music. Enjoy everyone to God, be the glory.! by @shamarabutler

Happy Sam Butler Jr. Day in Minnesota 🤍

Today we honor the life, legacy, and love of my father, Sam Butler Jr.
There truly was no daddy on earth like mine, and I am endlessly grateful that God chose him to be mine.

My dad is the one of the reasons I fell in love with Jesus—honestly, the reason I believed. Not because of sermons or titles, but because I watched a real man allow God to transform him from the inside out. His faith was unmatched. Steady and surrendered. He lived what he believed.

His life proved that when you fully yield to God, grace does the rest.

Daddy, your love covered us, your prayers still carry us, and your legacy lives on through every life you touched—especially mine. Thank you for showing me Jesus before you ever told me about Him.

Today, Minnesota honors your name.
Every day, I honor your life.

Though the Christmas season is coming to an end, the love we share will always remain. 🤍🎄

These photos hold core memories with the hands that raised me, the son God entrusted to me and the nieces and nephews who fill our lives with laughter and love.

Three generations, covered and kept by grace. 🙌🏾❤️

I personally can’t help but notice who’s missing. It’s an indescribable feeling knowing holidays and special moments will never be the same without the loved ones who have transitioned on. My deepest hope is that those of you who feel the weight of sadness will STILL experience the joy of the Lord. He’s not only an ever-present help, but a consistent and faithful Father and Friend. 🙌🏾🥹

In every season, I’m reminded that nothing can separate any of us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. It has sustained me and has helped me grow to know Him as TRUE joy even amidst sorrow.

And for that I’m grateful! ❤️ May the peace, love and joy that only He can bring surround you like never before!

So I am late lol I am recovering from a few nights of joy and happiness!! but I absolutely had a blast at the Mothers Day tribute !! I am absolutely delighted with the experience I had and i am once again grateful for the opportunity to show case my talents to the beautiful women in the world! Happy Mother’s Day to all woman we all play a part in someone’s life.
And a big shout out to my mother for showing up and supporting me it’s so important to be there for your children. Thank you mom I love you always ❤️ big shout out to everyone who was apart of this and who helped to make it happen !! Everyone did amazing as usual!! There are no words just a feeling of happiness and gratefulness!! And most of all big shout out to @dakotampls !! One of the greatest places to perform!!
