We’d like to formally introduce Montreal to our co-collaborators for this very special Halloween show: Liz Wendelbo & L.Sangre from SHAME! 𖦹𖦹

Making their Montreal debut as a collective, SHAME! from NYC was incarnated to be a haven, a harkening back… for those who crave The Real, the Raw, Dance & Dalliance with Shadowy Tangible Forces; a Candlelit Interlude Recalling and Recultivating Into Existence…
Their sound and the nights they conjure focus on DarkElectronics, Cold/Dark Wave, Minimal/Synth, Industrial, SynthPunk, BodyMusic & more & nothing less.

SHAME began in NYC as a one-off Halloween warehouse party conceived of by L.Sangre in 2019, and was relaunched in 2025 with new fervor, in collaboration with Liz Wendelbo (from Xeno & Oaklander).

For more than two decades, Xeno & Oaklander have been a defining presence in the minimal synth and coldwave underground, building a special world around analogue synthesizers, vintage drum machines, stark electronics and the interplay between Wendelbo and Sean McBride aka Martial Canterel.

It’s this devotion to atmosphere, physicality and the darker minimal sides of electronic music that makes SHAME! such a natural collaborator with Nights of Worship.

From EBM and industrial to coldwave, New Beat, techno, electro and experimental electronics, both of our nights share an interest in music with history behind it, but also in keeping that culture alive rather than just recreating the past.

LOVE this vantage and set of clips of @silent_em ‘s performance that our buddy Phil @goutroy captured from the last party!!
SILENT EM’s performance was so ripe with Energy & Presence both by his delivery and the crowds receptivity and reverberating it back, and that’s exactly what made it so magical.

We’re excited to keep building… 🔨
